"Dance Moms" follows Abby Lee Miller and the nation's favorite tween dancers as they take on Hollywood while new auditions, new competitions, and new studios raise the stakes.
The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! Paige broke her foot 5 minutes before. Nothing was going to her in that dance. Nia looks pretty ticked off, though at 3:18.
Nia had a solo and Paige broke her foot and Mackenzie wasn't in all of the group dances at that stage because her age meant she couldn't always keep up.
@@MsJubjubbird I forgot all about Paige's foot lol. And I think it's a little sad that Nia is the only child who gets "either or" as Holly put it. If she has a solo Abby sometimes pulls her from the group. She was always the sacrificial lamb and it was kind of sad. I understand it isn't the case here though, as she wasn't the only one pulled. It just reminds me of this because people always say it's fine if she wasn't in a group because she had a solo. But sometimes she didn't. And even if she did, dancers like Maddie and Chloe got to do both most weeks and were often front and center.

Brooke actually has a lot of unaired solos. Bc if you look at her at earlier competitions she's often in a solo costume in the background.

The 3 girls she held the most valued and thought where the best dancers at one time.
I love how abby can "cut people out" seconds before they go on and they can re chereograph it within seconds without any type of run thru and it ends up perfect
I mean it was probably practice far before the competition but there have been a few times where the girls had to reblock the number just before going on stage. I think it's something that they are trained to know how to do.

This group dance is definitely one (maybe the) of my favorite group dances!😍🥰I love the choreography, costume and the music. I think cutting the group dance to four dancers was a good decision.

I feel bad for Paige, Nia, and Kenzie they didn’t deserve that at all. I understand why Kendall was cut and she’d be in the next dance. I don’t like how Abby’s decision was so last minute and that she kept it a secret.
to be fair, paige and nia at least had a solo each
Paige broke her foot right after performing Creme De La Creme. She wasn’t going to be dancing the group on a broken foot.
Nia at the very least had a solo that week, which was Working Girl.
Kenzie was too little for this routine, she wasn’t even in rehearsal.
That's why Abby , went to jail. Keeping secrets.

Fun fact, actually sad fact,
Kendall and Jill going to Cathy was just scripted. It was just for more drama. Kendall performed silver spoons in the non filmed version at the same comp they performed it in. She also had a green dress, so Chloe wasn’t really the one standing out.
Honestly the way she just shoved kendall in the there as if she was entitled to have a spot even though she left was a bit much.

This dance was originally performed by 4 of the best dancers of the senior elite team. I think John Fiumara, Nina Linhart, Brittany Pent and I forgot the 3rd girl's name. They placed 4th at YAGP with that dance. It made sense that there would be 4 dancers here as well, since Abby had just recreated that dance keeping almost similar partnerwork
