    Exception, when it comes to clear coat I would never just wing it..... You'll end up burning it or turning it yellow or Brown

    During the time you check the actual temperature on the part, the oven temperature in the panel reading will drop significantly or not? Will it impact to the part temperature and therefore impact to the curing schedule? What would be your proposal if we do have a conveyor curing oven, how can we check the part temperature on periodical basis? As attaching a thermocouple sensor on daily basis can be a bit troublesome. Thanks for your answer

      Unfortunately I don't have a definitive answer for you, because it will depend on your particular oven and setup. For ours, we do not notice a temperature drop. The time it takes us to read the part temperature is only a matter of seconds, so there is no impact on curing. For your situation, you may be able to use an IR temperature gun like we do. The IR beam reached pretty far but you do need to take your reading from the thickest part.
