Yes, I think they are certainly linked. I am a scientist but also a spiritual person. I have a crackpot belief about consciousness - I think that even if we could (using some hypothetical advanced technology) scan and fully replicate a human down to the molecular level, the copy wouldn't have the same personality and consciousness. Current physics, chemistry and biology knowledge would suggest that the copy would have identical personality, memories, consciousness, everything. But I don't think so. I even have doubts that the copy would have consciousness at all. I think there's something other than currently-known physics, chemistry and biology going on.

AJ, your channel started out asking us to wonder, about mysteries, conspiracy theories, and strange facts of science (can’t forget the original math facts, strange animals, and ASMR episodes!). But lately, you’re voicing wonderment about our place in the universe, which many of us have thought and felt during a quiet moment. These are things we don’t get from everyday media. back in the day I partook on several occasions and one thing always struck me after each experience. This feeling of connected-ness. Like there was always this (entity? construct? consciousness?, idk how to even describe it) thing, that I felt if I could just tap into I would learn the secrets of the universe. I always felt so connected with everything on those occasions and more so than just in a 'hippie' kind of way. Talking with people who also partook, They also always felt some kind of pull towards this One-ness. I know it sounds crazy but the fact that so many people also report such feelings tells me there's more to it than just 'good vibes man'.
Ok sorry, thanks for coming to my ted talk. Great video as always!

There are two mechanisms at work:
    1. Radiation can create brand new genes when you irradiate gametes. Monsanto used this for producing new forms of corn. The practice is called Mutation Breeding. Some old genes that are inactivated can become activated as well. The results can be unpredictable.
    2. The increased presence of radiation creates a selective pressure all of its own which shapes those mutations.

  • @rubyxfinity8634

The way I HEARD it, 30 years ago from my awesome physics professor, is that human DNA contains genes that are leftover from that distant human era, and 2% of all people still have those genes. I remember reading stories about that 2% again when Chernobyl happened, particularly as it related to the fireman and his pregnant wife. (He fried alive over days, she and their unborn child remained unharmed, even though she stayed with him in the hospital. She was one of the 2%.). And then I read stories about the wolves and rats and domesticated dogs. The population dropped right after the disaster... to about 2% of their previous population. And THESE are the ones that reproduced and thrived.
So I always took it as common knowledge that, in the event of world wide nuclear war, excluding those dying from direct hits, 2% of the survivors would live without issue (while 98% of the survivors would die a slow death; I thought this knowledge was the origin of the FALLOUT games).
Now, with CRISPR, it would not surprise me if they are trying to tweak DNA to make these genes available to "selected" people.... but as we've learned, CRISPR technology isn't as accurate as we thought... there's a whole lot of "links" in the DNA that we haven't mapped.
Speaking of maps, my dog can detect a map of all the poops and pees of other dogs, 100 yards out. It's like she knows where the hot spots are long before her nose has gotten near it. I always figured it's like bright glowing neon that she can see and I cannot, so she can see "big poop from 3 days ago at 2 o'clock, on the pathway, 50 yards ahead." And she pulls he leash like a mad dog, desperate to get us there.

That oneness that is God. God iz all things, including us. I think we are just conscious energy. Not even sure if we’re really here or just having a conscious experience of being human. There’s a lot of science to back that up too. Not that science is the all knowing wisdom of the universe. It cannot explain this exactly but we don’t need to explain everything to know.

@@iamkadzyes but many people are more comfortable with intelligent design though it’s the same but the difference is religion is man made and does not follow logic so it’s almost something fearful from not being able to understand it Entirely. Are we acting as what we presume is wanted by God or if you remove the fear which is derived solely by religion then it’s easier to except albeit named without a name like we are used to. Is religion and the Bible just a stepping stone until we recognize the next step in our evolution? I’ve long felt we can not learn based on the end result, the information in between is just as vital otherwise we value it less and I also believe life supports life which means we can’t skip ahead as that may damage the value of how precious is each step on the way. It’s easier to rush then to fully be in the moment which as humans we are impatient with. There is a vital importance to it otherwise we can miss the point. Life is fragile but the strength to survive is incredible, maybe this life we are here to learn what’s needed before we go to another that is nessacary that we can’t evolve until this point is completed- life supports life. Scientists have said our dna was altered and many assume it was our lifespan it affected- but what if the altering disconnected us from the spirit but what if it is naturally changing back to how it was before the altering similar to the radiation issue, it could be fixing itself which would enable us to focus as mentioned in this video

There is no collapse of the quantum state. There are an infinite number of realities (frequencies) that we tune into as we go about our daily lives (just like you said: tapping in). There is no such thing as nothing. Space is infinitely filled with frequency, every conceivable frequency. As we go about our daily lives we tune into that part of the frequency spectrum that creates that part of our reality. Our reality is just a very minute part of this spectrum in which exists no time and space. Everything and anything can be accessed immediately just by tuning in; what is called quantum entanglement. Really everything is already entangled with everything else. There is no limitation. Time and space is just an illusion of our limited minds. It is like a radio or television. You tune into specific channels which are specific frequencies and it is like you are there. The radio or television station did not have to come to you or you to it. You tuned into it and you are there. This brings up a note of caution: be careful what you tune into.

The last part of this episode really resonated with me. I often find myself pondering the same ideas-how we are all interconnected, and that we’re all part of the vast universe. We’re here to embrace the human experience, and our bodies are temporary suits for the journey. There’s no need to fear death. When we die, we return to our “true” home, where we reflect on our time here on Earth. Consider it a special project! 😉Also, I have to say, Hecklefish’s humor is brilliant, it never fails to make me chuckle or at least smile! Thanks, AJ! 😊
