You’re so right. Experience truly does matter more than education. My husband has no college degree, yet he’s making six figures doing a job that requires a skill set he developed as a hobby. All the job postings say they want education, but he’s never had a problem getting an interview and proving he can do the work.

Omg girl this happened to me once too! My very first job I was a dietary aide at a nursing home and I worked the morning shift and they would have the coffee all set up and ready to go the night before so all I would have to do is push the button as soon as I walked in the morning. Well there was a caregiver that worked there and she and I did not get along and she thought it would be funny to start the coffee so it ended up getting double brewed and went EVERYWHERE! Luckily there wasn’t any residents around cause they could have been badly hurt but omg I could of slapped her! I never got to get my revenge on her either cause I ended up getting laid off due to COVID like a week later. 🙄
