My Lavellan didn't go back to him. She couldn't trust him after what he did to her, even though she still loved him and wanted to be in his arms. She was rational, so she knew she couldn't trust him.

WOW. Just wow. This video is good in so many ways. First, I love the pairing. I romanced Anders in DA2, and Solas in DAI, and I thought a lot on these pairings: in DA2, making Anders an antagonist, a fanatic, was really badly written. It was potentially one of the best character developments in the trilogy, and still, it didn't have the impact it could have - and what's worse, if Hawke doesn't give up on him, the game assumes she agreed with him. In comparison, Solas' story is amazingly well-written. They build him up as an antagonist, he has a sweet love story with the Inquisitor, which slowly turns really dark, and it is entirely possible, that the Inquisitor doesn't agree with him at all, but still fights for him.
Second, your editing and song choice is really good as well. The dialogue fits perfectly, doesn't suppress the music and vice-versa. The scenes fit perfectly with the music. Really, one of the best videos I've ever seen. I'll rewatch it a couple of times.
