See this is why i seriously trust you and LOVE you.. I completely agree with the whole Gerard cosmetic lipstick thing. I picked up a bunch of them on black friday and they are def not worth $20 a pop! The formula isn't the best and they feel very cheaply made. I feel like they are raved about so much because they are being sent to so many guru's but when you spend your own hard earned money on something and give an honest opinion its valued so much more! I know that even if you were sent something you would be 1000000% honest with us. Anywho loved this video. Girl your hauls always make me wanna go shopping! I love everything you buy I swear and I never heard of most of those mac lipstick shades so im excited to try them:) If only I wasn't so broke right now due to the holidays lol

I only really like 1995 by Gerard cosm. When I got them I was like ohhhhh gold soooo purttttty the packaging is a little similar to Mac buttttttttt then a few days later I drop two of them and they literally broke. So I actually agree with you. It's a little deceiving.

see, I just got the original palette from the Navy Exchange and I felt the same way- the shadows just weren't that pigmented. Well, some were but the majority just had very little pigment to them. I wonder if I got a faulty one.

I have looked at videos that have to do with Gerard cosmetics, and one of them was this lady who had a friend who was sponsored bye them and she told the truth about Gerard cosmetics, pretty much they pay the people like Jaclyn hill to rave over their products and say there good, but if they don't they can sue them for the money they gave, From what I saw in that video it seems Gerard cosmetics is pretty shady ,... Hope this helps 👍
GwenMCgamer I am packaging them up today and sending them back. I had to wait for am email from them to put in with them lipsticks. They really are not worth the hype at all, I mean you can buy a Mac lipstick for 16$ and it's amazing. They charge you 19$ for plastic packaging and awful formula but that's just my opinion ;-)
Yes, I'm glad she already told you that you can return them. Most companies nowadays seem to have the "love it or return it" policy. I try to swatch and test as many products as I can so I don't have to return much but if that's not possible to swatch I am thankful that most companies will let you return or exchange items. :)

I've actually always found the opposite! MAC employees work on commission so whenever I go in I'm stopped multiple times my workers to try & get a sale!
I haven't had much luck either ! There are two Mac stores in my mall, so I went into the first one because my little sister and I were shopping for Christmas gifts . So we were looking for lipsticks and we could not find them, but I thought why not ask maybe I'm not looking properly ? So I went to ask the employee they straight off ignored me and glared at me and told me she was Busy ! When she was just standing there talking to a co-worker ! So my sister and I ran off and left to the second one ! Gladly they helped us with out us having to ask them ! My feeling towards Mac employees were rescued there, but not very pleased with the first store .
I feel you. The first time I went, I had sucky service. Then, I went back because I fell in love with Mac. The second time the service was really good. So, it depends on the employees. (Btw, I went to the same store twice.)
Thanks for sharing your experiences. It's a shame some people there are so rude - they lose customers like that. I think friendliness and approachability should be a prerequisite in any customer service job.

Hey sweetheart, I loved the haul! and the lipstick you have on is to die for! I hoped its from a brand we have over here in Israel so I can get it too, and I'm sooo glad its from Mac! I just wanted to tell you that I think taking off glitter with nail polish removing pots is a baaad idea, and I'll tell you why! unlike regular nail polish, glitter does not someone melt or dissolve, you'll basically be pouring glitter in the pot over and over, and then every time you stick your fingers in the pot you'll get glitter all over your finger, which I personally absolutely hated. I am not telling you you shouldnt do this or that, I'm just sharing my own experience with you! By the way, I'm the only Arab who lives in Israel who makes beauty UA-cam videos, in English, and I'm having hard time with exposing my channel to people, so if you have any tip of yours as to how to make this work then I'm all ears! Ahhh ski lodge is my fave this season! It is definitely a milder scent than some of the other holiday scents but it's beautiful and subtle and so pretty. Love it!

Kathleen, Im so happy someone is finally being honest about the low quality of Gerard Cosmetics lipsticks. I love their glosses but their lipsticks are overpriced and everyone on youtube raves about them. The colors are beautiful but the quality of the texture, the packaging and even the smell seems cheap. I was so disappointed when I tried them.

I bought the Semi Sweet palette a few months ago and hated it and returned it. However, I recently was at Ulta and they had it out as a tester and it had been dug into already and when I swatched them they were a lot more pigmented than I had originally thought. So I think maybe the trick is to dig into them and get past the first layer and then you will get the color payoff you are looking for!

You'll love the travel set from ream techniques! The multi task is my holy grail foundation brush but I use it for pretty much anything that involves the face and the domed shadow is PERF for hitting the crease with shadow! I also get use out of the foundation brush for blending my under eye concealer, it works great!
That orange brush in the real techniques kit is actually good for concealer!!! I use it when I do a cream highlight and contour and its great!
