I never understand why UA-camrs who do makeup videos for a living have to justify their purchases of makeup, or anything beauty related (skin care, fashion, nail polish etc.....really anything for that matter) This is their job, and all these viewers either ask for it, or are subscribed to see it. Kathleen has already shown previously her understanding of how expensive things can be, but if she can afford it, by all means girl, own that ish! She's also not shoving it down anyone's throat either, and will tell her viewers if the product was even worth the $$. Much love for you Kat!

The wet and wild contour palettes look just like the 2 I bought from Mac recently . Now I need the wnw ones to compare. That fergie daily is one of my all time favorite lipsticks..drugstore or high end. It's perfect and mixes really well with lots of different shades of lip liners. Great video.
You need to try the ABH liquid lipstick in Carina if you don't already own it! It's the perfect coral shade for summer :)

I believe MAC is about to launch a collection of liquid lipsticks...or something about that. Go in Instagram and look up trendmood (at least I think that's how it's spelled) and they have posts about it.
Kathleen, I really love your channel. I think it's really fun to watch all of the youtubers talk about the makeup that they have. I think it's really wonderful that you're so down to earth and use a lot of drugstore products in your videos. Whenever I want to go out and buy more makeup I immediately watch your videos because I know that I can afford them!

I think the reason Kathleen is always trying to explain her hauls is because she always said she was against buying expensive stuff (dass essspensive). So now that her channel has grown and she can buy more stuff, she can no longer act the way she did.
I don't have a problem with it. People grow up and change. When I was younger I also thought expensive items weren't worth it. Now that I'm older I would rather spend good money on something I love than buy five cheaper things. But Kathleen has to accept that she's changed.
I think that as her channel grows her subbies are asking her for opinions on higher end products not everyone shops just drug store . And now she's actually getting better money in so why not buy more products to test out and talk about it on her channel.

I don't think it means she has changed. Plus I think you can give a better review the more knowledge you have. If you only review drugstore what do you compare it too? How do you know that more expensive products are not worth it if you don't try them? If being more educated about the spectrum of make up means she has changed, then she changed for the better

My channel has grown so I get asked to review or discuss so many things which is why I haul so much! trust me girl, if I didnt have a channel- I wouldn't. but I as a person, have not changed! I can see what you mean though (I hope this reply to you doesn't sound mean!!)
Kathleen, your reply wasn't mean and I wasn't being mean either. But I do think you have changed a bit (which is perfectly fine). I never said you don't like drugstore anymore. But in your earlier videos you did say you wouldn't spend a ridiculous price on makeup. Now you do all the time, which I don't believe should be criticized because as you say there are several valid reasons for changing your mind. I think it's sad that people on UA-cam are attacked for not being exactly the same as they were at the beginning.
The colouredraine liquid lipstick is life they stay on when you eat watery or oily foods and the staying power is amazing and the best bit is they come off so nicely you don't need to tug on it and the colours look darker in the bottle than it is on the lips.
But the taste is disguisting though haha :P

in holland we do not have a lot of drugstore brands (a maybe line mascara is 16 euros, like 23 dollars) and so essence is everybodys favorite!! I would really like to recommend the 2 in 1 bronzer and the cream soo glow highlighter (in the pinkish shade) also the pink mascara with the big black letters on it, its just life!! You should really try out more of their stuff its so good!

That lip Colour is so pretty on you! Omg, I want half the products you've mentioned, but I'm on a buying ban for a while because I just splurged on a Canon t5i (So I can start my blog... and maybe a YT channel if I'm extra brave). The Essence lip liner is so affordable though so maybe I'll make a small exception. The struggle of being a makeup addict haha :D

JUST A WARNING!!
When you started a natural deodorant, you will stink. Your body has to detox all the aluminum and crap it has built up from the deodorant. To keep up with it, just make sure to carry wipes/alcohol/hand sanitizer. If you find yourself stinking, just clean up and reapply deodorant. After you detox, the deodorant should work just fine :) Some people don't detox (I didn't when I started using the crystal) but a lot of times you do. Unfortunately, years of using a product that is made to cling into your pores takes some time to shed off.

I don't know about that particular brand of natural deodorant, but I have done research. It takes some time (like weeks, I think!) for your body to adjust to the natural stuff. I bought a natural deodorant from a friend who sells Arbonne and I wasn't having it lol.....I couldn't tough it out for more than a week. It felt like I kept sweating more than if I didn't wear any! But, your body has to adjust to the change, so stick with it and I'm sure it'll be great. Or keep trying others. :)
It took me like 2-3 months to get used to it and I did start using it in the summer. but I've been using it for like 1-2 or more years now. Legit I can't remember even but it's so worth the $$$ it saves me $$ now because I used to use a tube a week of the clinical stuff because I sweat so bad. I think my pores were clogged and my body was mad at me but now I barely sweat. And I only apply it once a day in the am after showering. It's legit my fav deodorant. It's worth the $ it really is.

The Healthy Deodorant is all I use. It took about 2 weeks for my body to sweat out all the toxins before I fully adjusted to it. Now it's all I use!

I have extreeeeeemely dry skin, and I tried the primer water today for the first time just over my normal moisturizer, and it is AMAZING it kept me hydrated all day. I was skeptical about it too at first, which is why I only bought the smaller travel size version but I will definitely be purchasing the full size!

You should try some of Essence's highlighters :) I love them! Also, their All about matt translucent powder is probably the best mattifying powder I've ever used and it's soooo affordable

I've been using Lavanilla deodorant for a year now and it's the best natural deodorant I've tried. I will say that there is definitely a detox period of a week or two after you stop using aluminum deodorants. You will be stinkier and sweatier than you can ever imagine and then it will just stop. That's when your natural deodorants will step up and work just fine. I'm a stinky sweaty girl and I've found Lavanilla to work great on me. Good luck! Love your videos!

I LOVE those wet n wild contouring palettes!!! I have both and yes, they do set my under eye concealer beautifully lol. They swatch funny but applied to the face...magic!!! Lol.
This haul was everything! This might be random, but I really appreciate how you watch smaller UA-camrs and get to know them well enough to consider them your friends. The Essence blushes are amazeballs! I've been wearing them for a year and a half now and they are as good or better than many of the high end blushers. Would recommend in a heartbeat!
I loooove the lavanila deodorant! I have it in the scent lavender vanilla; it smells great and it works wonders. I have tried a few different natural deodorants from Walgreens and Fruitful Yield and they either were way too watery, did not mask any odor whatsoever, or caused skin dryness and itchiness. The lavanila deodorant was something I discovered while watching MakeUpByTiffany (I think that's her) and I ordered it off amazon after I saw her talk about it. I am soooo glad I did!!! It smells nice for a while, keeps my from sweating as much (even though it is not an antiperspirant) and even when the scent goes away, there is still no odor. Use it!!! That's all. Sorry for the rant. Just wanted to say it's worth the cost. Stop using the crappy, chemical filled deodorants!

The Smashbox water primer is a fancy water, lol, you are right! Better saying, it's a toner. Despite what people say on how well it may primer you skin, you can do the exact same thing you do with the prime water with a toner. It's all marketing, really. Another use for that prime water is to simply refresh your skin throughout the day or if you need to reapply your makeup, you can spritz the water so you have a better canvas to retouch 😄
