Immaru lays it all out for our Guardian. Telling us that we caused all the damage to that Savathun was trying to prevent. Seriously, he didn’t hold back at all here.

I mean he's not entirely wrong though, with all our good intentions we did fuck up so much we basically handed the traveller to the witness
We may have lost at Neomuna. But at least we still have a fighting chance. If Savathun’s plan succeeded, it would’ve only delayed the inevitable. The Witness would continue its search for the traveler, but this time tear the sol system or the whole universe apart to do so.
We also can’t forget the Veil is linked to the Traveler. If the Witness could tap into the Traveler to find the Veil on Neptune, who’s to say it can’t do the same thing in reverse?
Immaru does have a good a point it's our fault that we lost.
No if savathun sealed away the traveler we wouldn’t have the light.
And her plan was better? Don't kid yourself, Savathun's plan would've only delayed defeat. And, at least, with our defeat, there's the chance for winning the war. Savathun's wouldn't have had that chance.
And where would that leave us? Even if the Traveler’s not there, the Witness would just take its frustration out on us.
And our people… doesn’t matter if Immaru’s right or not. What matters is that we’re doing something other than hiding away for the Witness to tear the system and the rest of the galaxy to pieces looking for it. Even if Savathun succeeded, it would’ve only delayed the inevitable.

Imagine the irony if the Travelr weakened the Lucent Hive to be slaughtered as we’d done to the Iron Lords. Why would it do that? Maybe the Traveler’s intent was for Savathun to realize the Bomb Logic and join us. Maybe her final death is close at hand?

Immaru has a point the traveler chose the hive so that savathun can sealed it away from the witness, because it didn't trust humanity anymore and them absolutely stupid, selfish, and hungry power just because they have the light and give them the rights to mess with other species.
If Savathûn comes back I hope she puts this little shit in his place.

Not really. All this could've been avoided if Savathûn had simply joined forces with us instead of running off with the source of both our powers.
Her plan was doomed anyway. Most of the Throne World had been overrun with Scorn, and Rhulk would still be a huge issue for her. Even with the Light, the best Savathûn could do about him was seal him inside his own pyramid. Not to mention that Rhulk had the Upended and would’ve used it to destroy both the Throne World and everything in it.
