I tried doing a water cards only / tentacle run in Inscryption Kaycee's Mod but before I could finish I literally broke the game. #Inscryption #KayceesMod
Okay hear me out: do that again, but do this. First, have Goobert paint the Great Kraken. Do not get any sigils on the Kraken before then. Second, get the dam thing on Great Kraken 1 Third, get Mealworm thing on Great Kraken 2 Fourth, Mycologist time. Fifth, get a clock, play the kraken, and pray the two mirror tentacles happens again. Sixth, sacrifice the mealworm mirror tentacle, the other tentacle loses all attack, and you have a unit with 1837418016482826374 attack.
@@cyclopsmouse2247 As I remember, there are hard limit of how many teeth will be rendered. Something like 20 or so. You still get them all, but you'll not see more than this limit. Bone tokens doesn't have this limit.
@@hmmmmmm6567 "A situation where a game remains apparently playable, but further progress is impossible, typically due to a design flaw or glitch." While yes I can but still it ruined the run, I never said it broke the game only said that i got softlocked.
5:49, I think what happened here was that because the Moose was in front of the mirror tentacle at the start of the turn, in meant the card was programmed into attack-mode. But then the Moose died before it could attack so it was left to deal 0 damage
Similar thing happens with annoying sigil. If you have a burrower+annoying card, and it starts the turn in front of a 0 attack card(like a tree), then that card will be determined to attack, and will attack even though at the moment of attacking the card is not in front of it and thus has 0 attack, only regains that 1 attack when the card moves to block the 0 damage you would recieve.
I did not know that thing with the mirror tentacle. What would happen if the tentacle had the morsel sigil? (the mealworms sigil that transfers stats to what you sacrifice it for)
Ha! Nice the Mirror vs Mirror mechanic, I do wonder that maybe you could actually attack (Before the crash that is) if your tentacle has Airborne Edit: Aight I managed to do this with a mirror with annoying and the fisherking sigils, ends up, it works! Had to stop at 5000 attack, but it did manage to do direct scale damage eithour crashing the game!
Most likely the game either overflowed when attack went too high, or the loop/recursion got too big for either the game or system memory to handle. The first is more likely, but the final number (10375?) isn't a limit to any type I know of; so, unless Unity has custom types, in such a case either the actual number was far higher (the animation lagging far behind when the game crashed) or the overflow/crash was due to how numbers are displayed and the next number (10376) couldn't be handled for some reason.
an integer overflow shouldn't crash the game regardless unless there's some bad programming going on, likely a display issue or stack overflow like you mentioned
I once managed to do an infinite mirror loop like this a couple years back and consistently crashed around 7000 attack, give or take 500. It's most likely the latter.
I love how he never does a pure tentacle run, he has to mix it and i am sure he does so because he feels embarassed or something, because he turns a complete 180 on the idea as soon as he mentions it every time 😂
Water starting deck might not be the most consistent but it is definitely the deck if you are in the mood for shenanigans. While kingfisher is far from the best card in the game having 2 of them at the start means if you wanna get the most sigils possible from mycologist shenanigans it is the way to go and kracken has its own shenanigans it can get up to.
could the mirror thing work if you had just a regular mirror tentacle to the right (so thats the one that ends up staying on your side) but it had the mantis thing on it?
@@UndrcoverCactus It's the alpha sigil's damage increase. Mirror A copies Mirror B's attack and increases it by one due to the alpha sigil. Mirror B then copies Mirror A's attack. Mirror A then needs to update it's attack value because the creature across from it (Mirror B) changed it's attack value. This logic goes in a recursive loop which is why it increases infinitely.
-everyone wondering why He gave up winning with the 13 atk hand tent-
'We're not aiming for the truck!'
The power of mirror force was too much for Leshy to handle
Bro rage quit
I know I'm late but imagine if bro got the fan item to make that mirror tentacle hit for the several thousand points of damage lmao
The Mirror vs Mirror and Alpha was like two kids fighting by going ‘I hit you infinity times!’ ‘Oh yeah!? Well I hit you infinity plus 1 times!’

What
thats so smart
does a random card keep the power or does it have to be Ouroboros or Hodag
Only problem is how long it will take for all the teeth to drop...if the teeth don't crash your game first.
@@cyclopsmouse2247 As I remember, there are hard limit of how many teeth will be rendered. Something like 20 or so.

Dont put mirror against mirror, I got softlocked on such a good run....
Can't you just alt+f4

3:40 easily the best highlight lmao
Wow, that combo damn + dive sigils is so good that I've never seen before. Now I have a reason to keep that Kraken back.
Leshy was just watching this happen for a while and then rage quit.

I actually did this and learned that the stats at the time of sacrifice are what transfer over.
So you could have an over 5 tjousand attack card. @JoeJoel

Could be reaching max recursion depth. There is a function somewhere that is calling itself recursively to update it's attack values

The coin flip thing was neat, but reminds me of those water flip videos where everyone loses their mind haha
i like how at 8:20 exxo sacrificed his 13 ATTACK creature for 2

this game wants to be broken and abused and I love it! great video to prove that
Never thought it possible to put that dam sigil on the kraken, crazy
That feeling when you crash a game that's intentionally designed basically crash you at some point or another.
Should’ve took the fan to achieve a thousand teeth, smhing my head exxo that would’ve been at least 5 dollars worth from the tooth fairy
Ironically though, that was the trapper fight. So the teeth would've been useless anyway.

why does the mirror tentacle vs mirror tentacle keep increasing each other? Wouldnt they just both reflect 0 attack?
@@UndrcoverCactus It's the alpha sigil's damage increase.
