Thank you, Bella! I’m glad to hear that your students are happy with the Swagman Roll. A mutual friend of ours that shares one of our names told me that it might be too tight in the hood area. 🤣
Great review 😊 trying to work out whether to get medium or large. I am five foot 2 and want to cover my face when using it in the hammock. Looks like a medium would fit me if that’s the large on you. Do you wish it was longer on you? Take it easy. Greetings from a U.K. hammocker 🌲 🌙🌳
It’s still basically the same u can create a foot box with the swagman rolljust zip it half way and fasten one buckle the only advantage with that one is the price with the swagman you have the option of a top box and a sleeping bag as well as combining it with its poncho and having a bivvy bag too each to there own I guess but I see the swagman has the edge being as it does everything that does exactly the same as well as the option of a sleeping bag and combined bivvy bag option all that said I will still buy one of these because I just like my gear I always carry a jungle blanket from snugpak either way there good for extra warmth also keeping moisture off your down bag In night
@@jamieschmotzer all honesty I haven’t had a problem with it but I have heard that in some reviews I guess my head isn’t as big as there’s all I can say overall tho swagman is very hard to beat
@@jamieschmotzer also the swagman roll repels water directly tipped on it far better than you would think I was shocked when I tried it water runs straight off to the point it’s dry to the touch instantly it’s like witchcraft😂
Yeah. I’ve never carried bear spray, but when I’m in areas where bears are more likely to be, I always use a proper bear bag to hang my food away from where I’m sleeping. Good advice!
@@jamieschmotzer Thank you very much for the reply. Im shorter than you at 5'9", but will also go for the Large; price difference between the two on Amazon yesterday was only 5 dollars.
@@jamieschmotzer thanks for the quick reply. I’m 6’ and almost placed an order for the medium. I’ll go with the large. Perhaps I’ll go with the 40 degree version being from NY
Beautiful quilt, great for us outdoors people, thanks for sharing with us..
I need to see how warm it is down around freezing, but so far I’m digging it. Thanks for watching!

I suspect that the medium would be fine, but if you got the large you’d have more to flip under your feet like a foot box.
@@jamieschmotzer thanks!

My Kifaru Woobie has a crazy good DWR like that, too!
Looks like a good item for camping.
For sure!
Looks warm, have you ever encounter bears during your hiking/camping? I’m pretty scared of bears but still wanna go camping and hiking.
I’ve never seen a bear while camping or hiking. Typically they avoid people.
Could always carry bear spray, and make sure to eat and discard of food waste a fair distance away from where you’re gonna sleep

Also is this a medium or large size?
