Here after watching MD, thank you for supporting his channel. I have learned A LOT about how to properly care for my aquatic plants, which has dramatically improved my aquariums :)
My LFS in Alabama started carrying Tropica 1-2 Grow Cultures and I couldn't be happier! I got crypt wendtii 'green', taxiphyllum 'spiky', and pogostemon helferi. I waited years for this day! Thank you for all you do at Tropica.
Thank you so much for all the information my friend I truly enjoy what you do for the hobby may God continue to bless you and everyone around you be safe my friend
When you have a degree in Horticulture but still need to check out this video 😂 the plants aren't so hard, it's keeping the fish alive too. Great video
2:24 that's bacopa monnieri right? So I cant hang some parts of it and it'll be fine? I read from some websites that they flower when grown out of water
Hello. I wonder if you could do a more in-depth video of using the tropica specialized nutrition fertilizer. You mentioned in another video, that you recommand 5 ml per day in a high energy system tank with 60 l. I'm in the first 7 weeks of a new 60p heavily planted tank and I'm struggling with extreme green algae growth. I'm dosing 2ml per day and wondering if the ammonia from the fertilizer is causing this problem. I also looked at the tropica example aquariums and I'm truly blown away by the amounts of fertilizer you are using in these tanks. Would love to see a more detailed instruction.
So true about the regular feeding! My Amazon frogbit roots kept dying back between twice-weekly water changes, couldn’t work out why. Turns out they eat like kings! A squirt of the premium once a day and they’re doing great, not only that my tiny buce has four new leaves, my bacopa has grown an inch, and my previously slow tiger lotus has gone absolutely crazy! All in the space of just a week. No CO2 injection either, it’s a magic potion 🌞🌱
what would your recommendation be for a heavily planted tank, BUT with also a large fish load. 7%G tank thats just become established i think. so one pump of green and brown per day. see what kind of algae i have after a week and see how the plats are doing i guess.
Hi George I have just re scaped a fluval fresh 60Lt I am using dennerle 9in 1 Deponitmix professional topped of with dennerle quarts 1.2 mm gravel when do I need to feed my plants as my plants have only been just put them in and give them time to adjust as some are quite rare what do you recommend I will be using quantum Bio - Nutrients with Bio molecules and Bio trace the Bio Nutrients as co2 already in I liked the video and you scales are out of this world happy fish keeping
Great video the information is great after watching I realized I need to change fertilizer in regards to c02 can you get away with using it every so often instead of all the time thank you
What if i have lots of fishes and lots of plants, strong lightning and co2 injection? I have both products at home but i am not sure wich and how to use. I can also add separately N, P and K in any ratio or combination i want. Best regards!
Hi Silviu. It is really hard to provide an universal recipe for all aquariums. The best advice is to keep an eye on the development of the tank and tailor the fertilisation process on your plants behavior. As a rule of thumb we follow the guidelines described here: tropica.com/en/plant-care/liquid-fertilisers/premium-nutrition/
Thank you so much, for this information, I am new to this hobby, and created a low tech planted tank, with few fishes, so for rysome plants should I use the tropics premium or root tabs?
Hi. Welcome to the hobby! Root tabs give the plant a targeted boost; you'll have to use the liquid fertilizer regardless thus the tabs would just be the cherry on top.
Nice video 😊 every pump of these liquid fertilizer does dose only 1,2ml. I never had a one with 2ml. So maybe it's possible to use other pumps or correct the nameplate with the correct data.??
Hi. Unfortunately it wouldn't be that helpful as each tank needs a rather personalized approach. You can follow the guide here: tropica.com/en/plant-care/liquid-fertilisers/premium-nutrition/ ; consider that some plants might benefit from the usage of nutrition capsules as well.
The impact of fish on the GH value of water in an aquarium is usually minimal, especially if you are performing regular water changes and maintaining the water chemistry within an appropriate range for the fish species.
In general room temperature should be ok; as long as you do your water changes regularly there shouldn't be issues with the temperature. (and unless the tank is placed in the desert somewhere)
Hi. You can read more about it here: tropica.com/en/plant-care/liquid-fertilisers/premium-nutrition/ . The fertilizers should be tailored on your tanks needs not necessarily the type of water you use.

My God, those are gorgeous tanks. That's all the sales tactics needed.

Loved this video! Would love to see more on the System Nano Co2
Hi, could you please tell me what lights you are using for your covered aquariums?!

Hello sr . You didn't speak about when I should start dosing the liquid fertilizer ??
Had only recently found out that I had accidentally used correctly the premium nutrition on my non co2 tanks. Cheers..

@@TropicaAquariumPlants Thank you so much Sir
can I ask when do you know when your tropica substrate is basically to old to supply food to the plants

Thanks for the feedback. We will look into this.
Plz make daily dose chart
Would be nice to tell us your own ferts routine

how often should i feed plants in a 10 gallon? do i have to feed them on a daily?
Hi, it's best if you follow the instructions on our website tropica.com/en/plant-care/liquid-fertilisers/premium-nutrition/
@@TropicaAquariumPlants thanks
When are you going to make a bigger Co2 kit?
Never, because it is illegal to ship a larger cannister than the nano kit cartridge
What if you have a lightly planted tank with one fish?
Does this rise GH values for fish?
The impact of fish on the GH value of water in an aquarium is usually minimal, especially if you are performing regular water changes and maintaining the water chemistry within an appropriate range for the fish species.
Planted aquarium water temperature is a important?
In general room temperature should be ok; as long as you do your water changes regularly there shouldn't be issues with the temperature. (and unless the tank is placed in the desert somewhere)
What would be good for a 36L tank with Betta, some corys and shrimp, with maybe a medium planted tank
I have a Lot Plants, and a Lot Snails + a Lot Shrimps.
And CO2.
Should i use half Premium, half Speciale??
You could try and see the results.
@@TropicaAquariumPlants Thx and i will do so. 😊
Have great Day
👍
Hello, for aquarium with tap water what fertilizer u recommand ? Premium or Specialised ? thanks
Hi. You can read more about it here: tropica.com/en/plant-care/liquid-fertilisers/premium-nutrition/ . The fertilizers should be tailored on your tanks needs not necessarily the type of water you use.
good video but dont like one of this tanks! only two tetra neons and this lonely Gurami? And the Gurami is to big for this small tank... :(
Wish you would just stop using ur tiny co2 bottle and making it Sodastream bottle compatible
