Oh, I can only imagine! The sweet, nutty aroma of freshly harvested pistachios must be incredible. It’s probably the kind of smell that makes you want to snack all day! If only we could bottle that scent, right? 😄 What would you do if you could work in a place like that?
Love how they keep everything 100% natural! That 4-step wash process and no synthetic additives make these lemon sticks sound so refreshing and healthy! 💧
Dried without heating or freezing, allegedly at room temperature? The dryer creates a vacuum in the chamber to lower the boiling point of water and uses microwaves to heat the lemons to approximately 55-60°C. This avoids burning and darkening the color too much (after powdering, the albedo's whiteness helps retain the overall light yellow color), keeping the maximum temperature below the threshold of thermal degradation of nutrients. I believe the residual moisture is under 2-3% for powdering. So why is it called room-temperature drying?
13:28 The final product, '100% Natural Fruit Powder Lemon Stick,' is described as delicious and versatile, suitable for consumption in hot or carbonated water.
4:00 The slicing machine could have some tubing and a hopper on top of it so all four intakes can be used at once. The worker would also have an easier time using it since they would not need to always press on the top lemon to ensure the blade hits the stack. The hopper could also have doors to close the intakes when the transfer bin is nearly full.
So much can be done to automate this factory. I was thinking what a waste that the other blades are spinning around doing nothing. Also they need a packing machine for the sticks, this is so medieval, like they haven't changed the process since the factory opened in the 50's or something.
It's amazing! 15 tons of lemons are turned into powder in a modern factory - the process is a true marvel of technology. Watch and admire how they preserve the flavor and nutrients from fresh lemons.
@@RoHo702 Ah, okay, that makes sense. So they're using "cured" as "ripened". I've never seen that -- not that I'm regularly exposed to citrus marketing, though!
I’m trying to figure out why those Sunkist Lemons are not processed here in the US and the powder ship to Asia in some of those empty context containers.
Stickers are used for tracking, sourcing, if there was a problem with the batch, they can even tell which grower they got it from. These will be replaced with laser etching soon.
I am amazed that in a country like Korea, with a labour shortage and high incomes such a labour intensive process combined with the huge capital costs of those drying machines could make producing such low value product as lemon powder a profitable venture.

I bet Sunkist would fulfill bulk orders withOUT the stickers, if requested… would be a huge labor-saver
Same thought. If they have a permanent Sunkist supplier why don't ask to send it without the stickers.
@@rioshibathey’re probably checking the condition and quality of the fruit this way as well. It serves two purposes, probably.
It's amazing to think how these things get made. I never quite imagined this was the process. Very cool
Thank you for this beautiful educational video and also a nice choice of music.
This video was so calming to watch, thank you for keeping it straight forward🙌
I purchase fruit powder on Amazon regularly. They never disappoint. Lucious and as delicious as the real thing.
I would love to smell that place. I used to live in Asia and have been to South Korea numerous times, I love their foods and their diligence.

Why not buy the lemon itself? All that plastic is such a dumb waste.

100% natural way to create tons of plastic waste.
Türkiyede her yıl milyonlarca ton limon üretiliyor. Ülkemizden istediğiniz kadar limon tedarik edebilirsiniz. 😊
and they would get to Korea through Houthi dominated Red Sea? The insurance costs alone would be prohibitive.
interesting
Türkiye'de bu fabrika kesinlikle olmalı
Is it 100% natural, are you adding any coloring or preservatives?
A lot of water used with all that washing 😮😮
Just consider these lemons have been washed multiple times in the processing plant before packing.
Cleanliness is always next to god and my heart ❤️!
Oh, in the past, I still thought I had to squeeze out all the water to grind it into powder. It was so funny. But it was so delicious to drink.
❤❤❤ Pakistan ,Province KPK, Dera ismail khan. Village "" Singhran" has the best seedless Lemon Verity. Same like it. Big , juicy Lemon. ❤❤❤
wow, is that labor intensive. I guess there isn't enough volume or money in it to automate.

“I’m the lemon washer.”
Better than "lemon label remover"
a quality checker i guess.!!!

Now I'm just trying to figure out what a "sea-cured" lemon is.
Originally it was Picked green/unripened, and ripened while in transit. Now, it's just a brand label.
