    A suspect has been indicted for the killing of 90's icon & rapper, Tupac Shakur. Las Vegas PD have arrested Duane "Keffe D" Davis on a murder charge stemming from the 1996 slaying of famous musician Tupac Shakur. Duane went on a podcast in 2020 where he admitted to providing the gun that killed 2pac.
    The police have since said that Duane's admission on the podcast is what reinvigorated the case and that Duane was a "shotcaller" within his gang & is responsible for the order to murder 2pac.
    Personally, I do not believe he was the one to order the hit and many others feel there were people, possibly police officers of Compton PD involved, higher up the totem pole, who actually ordered the hit. There are still many questions surrounding this 90's mysteries and it looks as though fans of Tupac Shakur may finally receive some answers in the upcoming murder trial.

    Tupac was an incredible thinker, an intellectual, a voice for the disenfranchised and marginalized. He is to hip-hop what Kurt Cobain is to Rock. So moved to see this being discussed on your channel. You look very good, btw Charles. Can't quite put my finger on it...younger, perhaps.

    I am so glad this happened! I'm a rocker yes but I also enjoyed some rap back in the day and I'm also a true crimer as well and this case has always left many questions for me. So, yes please do a deep dive into this case! This gives me hope that Kurt might get some justice too.

    Charles I’m from this generation, I was 19 when he got murdered. So it was a huge part of my growing years. And I’m so glad they finally got charge’s on someone. Even though he admitted years ago and he wasn’t the trigger man.

      If Keefe D had just stopped talking about it, I doubt he would have been arrested. He kept telling the story for "clout" and the police saw it as him rubbing it in their faces. I'm hoping he rats on Puffy, and He gets arrested as well.

    This is awesome! 🎉 It's in the news all day. Keefe D admitted to participating in the killing years ago after receiving immunity because he was gonna go to jail for many years on drug charges which was then minimized. He also wrote a book & spoke on various podcasts. He did not count on another jurisdiction not being on board with this immunity deal since they follow different laws. Anyway, they raided his home last week and arrested him today. 🍾

    • @kamtroy2527
      @kamtroy2527 8 місяців тому +1

      The problem for Keefe is that he wasn't granted immunity, it was a proffer agreement.

    Compton PD had a lot to do with it. You really need to read up on this, it gets really confusing.. If you're going to start with Tupac, you need to start with Eazy E's death. It all centers around Suge Knight, Death row, Crips and Bloods and a few crooked cops.

    I actually snuck into the MTV Awards party that 2Pac was at 2 weeks before he was killed. He was dancing and having a good time about 10 feet in front of me. So strange how I was caught on that moment like I had a feeling about something, I wasn't even a fan of his music at the time. Crazy how these things are all connected. Looking and listening back though, even rap was a million times better than the crap rap of today. Biggie, 2Pac, Ice Cube, Ice Tea, LL Cool J, Tribe Called Quest, I'll take any of them over today's garbage.

    Funny how new details come out 30 years later. Earlier this year, Nick Oliveri revealed that Mark Lanegan co-wrote Something in the Way and never got songwriting credits. In his own book, Lanegan admitted that he had lied back then and in fact he did hear from Kurt during his final days. After his return to Seattle, Kurt left a message on Mark's answering machine and wanted to see him. (However, I don't believe that ML has anything to do with Kurt's death). Then, just a few days ago, I listened to a Ringer Podcast with Courtney Love. The last 10 minutes are about Kurt's final days. First, she said that Kurt went missing for five days and nobody knew where he was. But then she causaly mentions that "Charly" (Charles Cross) found out who Kurt was hanging out with while he was "missing". But these people either don't want anybody to know who they are, or they are dead by now or they "went back to their country of origin". So if Charles Cross, during his research for the book, found out who Kurt was hanging out with, why didn't he mention anything or reveal any info in his book? Instead the last five days are being treated like a complete mystery and it's all left in the dark. If the Cobain case ever gets reopened, the investigators should start with Charles Cross, get his info and track those people down.

    In a way 2pac was the Kurt Cobain of rap. They were both breakaway artists that changed the landscape in their respective genres. Both came from humble and artistic backgrounds. Both were extremely complicated and often contradictory people. They were both self-destructive in their own ways. Both died at the peak of their success. Every rock fan above a certain age knows where they were when they heard the news Cobain died. Every rap fan of that same generation remembers the same about 2pac. I often wonder what it would've been like if those two had ever met each other.

    Tupac is the son of black panthers of the marxist-leninist black panther party. He was definitely moving in the direction of massive change for all the oppressed in the world. A step forward for what the Black Panthers were trying to do in the 60s & 70s, but in a different way. This was a plan of action discussed with his incarcerated stepfather Mutulu Shakur. Tupac was obviously a student of black liberation, wanted to make changes, and tried to do so. He always kept the proletariat in the forefront of his efforts and awareness. He discussed it in many of his interviews. Its also obv he was spooked (understandably, to say the least) by life being threatened and these attempts on his life unfortunately inflamed the east coast west coast thing.
    Its important to recognize the FBI, CIA, etc constellation of alphabet agencies execution of flooding americas streets with drugs to target and destroy the black panthers, black & brown neighborhoods, poor white neighborhoods, poor working class, & left-wing movements in the late 70s and into the 80s. The war on drugs as we all know was a complete load of BS. We're the most militarized country with the most military bases in all the world... and we cant stop the massive flood of severely addictive drugs into our country.. what a load of BS lol. All this is documented and obvious as well.
    Kurt always had the awareness of oppressed people as well, my personal opinion was that Kurt wouldve likely headed in the same direction of Tupac as well. He was always socially sharp when it came to anything related to this subject. Through the punk scene, he was definitely exposed to the history of oppression and corruption. I think he mightve been trying to figure out how to go about revolution and stood back until he figured when wouldve been the moment to strike up the movement. Cool to think of how it couldve been possible to see Tupac and Kurt (not saying it would happen exactly like this, just that once a revolution is sparked, it crosses small differences and what not) coalesce a revolutionary movement, cuz there is obv solidarity across the oppressed struggle. There are photos of Kurt wearing a Bobby Seale for president pin somewhere that Ive seen before.

    I beleive after Courtney Love has died, the truth will come out, and the hitman will be charged ( If he is alive still) Or maybe Allen Wrench is the real killer, like he said by himself.
