A suspect has been indicted for the killing of 90's icon & rapper, Tupac Shakur. Las Vegas PD have arrested Duane "Keffe D" Davis on a murder charge stemming from the 1996 slaying of famous musician Tupac Shakur. Duane went on a podcast in 2020 where he admitted to providing the gun that killed 2pac.
The police have since said that Duane's admission on the podcast is what reinvigorated the case and that Duane was a "shotcaller" within his gang & is responsible for the order to murder 2pac.
Personally, I do not believe he was the one to order the hit and many others feel there were people, possibly police officers of Compton PD involved, higher up the totem pole, who actually ordered the hit. There are still many questions surrounding this 90's mysteries and it looks as though fans of Tupac Shakur may finally receive some answers in the upcoming murder trial.
Now we just need courtney love and we're good
Puffy too
Your profile pic is cool.
Agreed!!💯
Yes
Cali DIDit too.
Tupac was an incredible thinker, an intellectual, a voice for the disenfranchised and marginalized. He is to hip-hop what Kurt Cobain is to Rock. So moved to see this being discussed on your channel. You look very good, btw Charles. Can't quite put my finger on it...younger, perhaps.
I am so glad this happened! I'm a rocker yes but I also enjoyed some rap back in the day and I'm also a true crimer as well and this case has always left many questions for me. So, yes please do a deep dive into this case! This gives me hope that Kurt might get some justice too.
I still have hope that Kurt Cobain will get his long overdue justice.
This is why we can never, ever lose hope! The truth may not always come out as quickly as we’d like it to, but more times than not, it WILL eventually come out!
For real you said it girl! Truth for Kurts death will come to light.
Tupac and Kurt were my 2 favorites from childhood and loosing them both just a couple years apart was devastating.
no it wasnt palese
This is good to hear! I pray we do see justice for Kurt someday as well
And for Kristen!
@@scottcharney1091 Yes!
Justice for Cobain. I love the sounds of that. Amen bro. I couldn't agree more
Charles I’m from this generation, I was 19 when he got murdered. So it was a huge part of my growing years. And I’m so glad they finally got charge’s on someone. Even though he admitted years ago and he wasn’t the trigger man.
Rip Pac -
If Keefe D had just stopped talking about it, I doubt he would have been arrested. He kept telling the story for "clout" and the police saw it as him rubbing it in their faces. I'm hoping he rats on Puffy, and He gets arrested as well.
😂😂😂
Tupac was under FBI surveillance so this must be because the guy said too much one too many times.
Shouldn't Courtney Loves comments should bring Kurt's case back to life?Happy to see Tupac is going to get justice as well.
What exact comments would indict her though? Don't get me wrong she's the devil incarnate, I just don't think she said anything that could directly connect her to his death
Sounds like things are turning around. It gives me hope for Kurt.
Keffe D admitted a few times he killed Pac. The not so smart guy thought there was a statute of limitations.
As a Hiphop fan growing up in the 90s, I can say Tupac was to Hiphop what Kurt was to Grunge/Rock
Great content and reporting. Justice after so many years is still justice.🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🎸🎸🎸
Hes the uncle of the guy that pac beat up in the lobby of the fight. He is also Puffys old security. I'd only hope that Puffy is next. He has been suspected since the day it happened
Keefe has been telling this story for about 5 years or so. As soon as He told the story outside of the initial interview with Greg Kading, his words could be used against him. He should have known.
Dude 90s rap can really make u feel the way rock music makes u feel, theres just less of it.
As soon as I heard this on the news today the first thing I thought was "Courtney's next" and there will finally be justice for Kurt. And now I see your video and I'm even more convinced.
RIP Tupac. So surprised to see this post pop up. I couldn’t click fast enough. Thank you so much for posting this!
If it weren’t for his arrogance, self-importance, need for clout/attention & ego; we might not have closure. It’s times like these that I am glad that people don’t abandon their sin.
El Duce said what was long ago. Just before his demise. One of many things.
I almost guarantee Biggies suspects will come to fruition here shortly after this..
You best believe because the same guy was puffys security 😂
As soon as this came out, I was thinking about you. So glad this happened!!! Change is always around the corner, love your channel man!
🔘 mama told me ... the truth always comes out eventually
Courtney Love just had a stroke...j/k but She knows it will be coming.
I'm in the belief that Cali killed Kurt. After the last video you had about Kurts MURDER, I'm in the belief that Courtney is covering for Cali.
Which video? The last I see is the Allen Wrench one
Yes I also believe Cali did it
This is awesome! 🎉 It's in the news all day. Keefe D admitted to participating in the killing years ago after receiving immunity because he was gonna go to jail for many years on drug charges which was then minimized. He also wrote a book & spoke on various podcasts. He did not count on another jurisdiction not being on board with this immunity deal since they follow different laws. Anyway, they raided his home last week and arrested him today. 🍾
The problem for Keefe is that he wasn't granted immunity, it was a proffer agreement.
Actually, they raided the house in July, not last week.
Also, speaking of corrupt police in LA, I mean they basically do Scientology’s bidding when it comes to Scientology matters. LAPD is nuts!
Wow, just wow! Ty asf, and yes -Justice For Cobain indeed. Cheers Charles 👍☮️🌏
I love both Kurt and Tupac. Both legends and need justice
Not a fan of Rap/Hip Hop... but The 90's were my time & remember this very well. It's truly a shocker.
This really does give me hope! Keep doing what you're doing ASF we'll support you and justice WILL. BE. SERVED. ..KURT WILL HAVE HIS DEATH CERTIFICATE CHANGED..🙏❤❤❤❤️
Great news and hope for Kurt's Justice!🙏
Wooow! The loss of Tupac was as tragic as Kurt and the sting is still felt to this day. Proof that every day is a fresh opportunity for another piece to fit the puzzle. Universal law creates a dichotomy because darkness will always be brought to the light🖤🤍
Run puffy, run!! Keefe said puffy paid a million dollars for the hit on pac..
Hey ASF, loving the grunge news uploads. 💯✌🤘
As someone who gave up on the Kurt Cobain case a few months ago, this video has revived my interest.
Compton PD had a lot to do with it. You really need to read up on this, it gets really confusing.. If you're going to start with Tupac, you need to start with Eazy E's death. It all centers around Suge Knight, Death row, Crips and Bloods and a few crooked cops.
Apparently Davis wrote about his role in it in his memoir.
Charles without a beard: The naked truth.
According to Goodreads "The rose that grew from concrete" was published on 1. November 1999. It might include poems from when he was 19, but he was already dead, when it was released.
I'm clearly not a Tupac expert lol
Please do a playlist on tupac
I got this notification, so maybe it was just a glitch
The "justice" in the 2Pac case would be comparable to Cali being arrested and charged with Kurt's death. A fall guy falls.
I saw it also
Hopefully courtney is next
I actually snuck into the MTV Awards party that 2Pac was at 2 weeks before he was killed. He was dancing and having a good time about 10 feet in front of me. So strange how I was caught on that moment like I had a feeling about something, I wasn't even a fan of his music at the time. Crazy how these things are all connected. Looking and listening back though, even rap was a million times better than the crap rap of today. Biggie, 2Pac, Ice Cube, Ice Tea, LL Cool J, Tribe Called Quest, I'll take any of them over today's garbage.
Or maybe because they had nothing on him back then that would hold up in court
You have brand new teeth..making some money..happy for ya..
Bleached at the dentist. Not new lol.
True! But the big difference is confession
I recently found your channel. I never gave Kurt’s death much thought. You really opened my eyes about how much smoke surrounds Courtney Love and we all know the old saying.
Amen!
Courtney will confess in a book that releases years after her death
Or maybe a diary 🤔
I really really hope this puts some animus behind changing the status of the Cobain case, and that SOMEONE will get to actually investigating Kurt's death !!! I am a rocker AND a rap fan!
Vlad has many interviews with keefe that are worth watching.
I would love to see a deep dive on this from you!
R. I. P. Tupac Shakhur
Really good points there man. Keep up the investigative works
Really happy about this! Now if only....
Now Jam Master Biggie!!!ECT,,,,,
Funny how new details come out 30 years later. Earlier this year, Nick Oliveri revealed that Mark Lanegan co-wrote Something in the Way and never got songwriting credits. In his own book, Lanegan admitted that he had lied back then and in fact he did hear from Kurt during his final days. After his return to Seattle, Kurt left a message on Mark's answering machine and wanted to see him. (However, I don't believe that ML has anything to do with Kurt's death). Then, just a few days ago, I listened to a Ringer Podcast with Courtney Love. The last 10 minutes are about Kurt's final days. First, she said that Kurt went missing for five days and nobody knew where he was. But then she causaly mentions that "Charly" (Charles Cross) found out who Kurt was hanging out with while he was "missing". But these people either don't want anybody to know who they are, or they are dead by now or they "went back to their country of origin". So if Charles Cross, during his research for the book, found out who Kurt was hanging out with, why didn't he mention anything or reveal any info in his book? Instead the last five days are being treated like a complete mystery and it's all left in the dark. If the Cobain case ever gets reopened, the investigators should start with Charles Cross, get his info and track those people down.
Bcuz he only wants ehat's best for Courtney. His whole book is just what Courtney told him.He worships her & believes
her crazy stories.
Kurt and 2Pac were compared in so many ways. Spokesmen for their Generations, well...hopefully this is another similarity. That being said HOPE is not an ACTION. Please sign the petition. And bring Kurt some Peace, Love and Empathy eventually. Be a part of History.
Finally
So I'm a big fan of your channel, so with the tupac case, the cops brought Keefe d in so many times, they just couldn't pin him with anything, they were very sire he did. A great show to watch is called Unsolved, it's about the Tupac and Biggie case, Keefe D is main character in it. Also read LAbrinth by Russell Poole, he was the main detective on this case. So fucking good and there is so much information in it.
This does give Great Hope!!
I love Tupac and I love Kurt Cobain...... Let's fucking do this for Kurt, I'm so happy finally something is happening for Tupac. Too bad his Mom couldn't be here to see it.
OMG! I sent you a note Charles, weeks ago when I heard a rumor this was going to happen! Then again the night it did happen. I have to tell you a secret. I have gone undercover. I AM IN COURTNEY'S CAMP! Meaning... I have joined several Courtney fan groups using an alias. I am studying this woman. I plan on eventuality starting a conversation with her, as a member of one of her fan groups to see if I can't get ANY useful dirt. Can't explain much more. Don't want anyone warning her😮!
I run a Courtney fan group (and at least on Facebook) Courtney isn't a member of any of the fan groups anymore but she used to be back in the day. So you're wasting your time.
I read somewhere Keffe D admitted to being recently diagnosed with cancer and that’s why he snitched on himself.. he ain’t gonna do much time at all
He has a connection but didn't do it. He didn't have the shot, but his nephew did!!!! Keefe had a deal with California police but not Las Vegas police. keefe is like, 90 by now.
JUSTICE!!! HOPE!! SPYFOX!!!
Puffy must be shaking in his boots............, Courtney must be shaking in her Botox.
Hopefully the rest of the corrupt officers & everybody involved will just kick the bucket that way we can get Justice for Kurt! The only thing standing in the way of that is Courtney!
I often think about Tupac Shakur because we are the same age -(born in 1971) & I always wondered if one day we would catch the Killer... Justice for⚘Kurt & finally Tupac🥀
Omg!!!!!
So glad they got some justice for him. Never was a fan of rap, but i loved the movie bullet he did with mickey rourke
Yessir lets get justice for kurt spyfox!
In a way 2pac was the Kurt Cobain of rap. They were both breakaway artists that changed the landscape in their respective genres. Both came from humble and artistic backgrounds. Both were extremely complicated and often contradictory people. They were both self-destructive in their own ways. Both died at the peak of their success. Every rock fan above a certain age knows where they were when they heard the news Cobain died. Every rap fan of that same generation remembers the same about 2pac. I often wonder what it would've been like if those two had ever met each other.
If I remember correctly, he was not arrested way back then because there was a higher up who was in on it and provided cops or something? I think he just retired
I remember watching a video on UA-cam here about it and the guy saying something along those lines
Definitely make a series about this also if possible, you will find a lot of good stuff out there and be able to string it together
Getting a court case against CL would be tough. Most of the case is circumstantial coincidences you need hard physical evidence against her like forensic evidence without that there's really no case unfortunately to be honest. 🤔
Some evidence comes close. Such as the paper she used to practice Kurt's writing.
You mean like the toxicology report that experts say proves he had to have been murdered?
Glad they got this guy!!
Yeah, but there was never a question in the public eye of whether it was a homicide or not. A majority of people think Kurt was a suicide as was reported over and over.
Allen Wrench has admitted online and yet it’s not taken very seriously at all…. so what makes anyone think that this Tupac arrest is legit?
Hell yeah
I would never accuse you of clickbait.
Serpico is a good depiction (book or movie)
No, everyone SHOULD go on podcasts and brag about their crimes.!
This is just like Robert Blake going on the Jenks and talking to himself telling on himself ...shut up and keep it moving
Keffe D and Dr Dre and Suge Knight!!
The last living person involved with the TP murder.. ..
Keefe D himself and other rappers have revealed several times who killed Tupac AND Biggie for that matter. There's not much justice to be had though, because most of the suspects/persons of interests from back then are all dead. Keefe has been arrested because he was in the car and hes still alive.
So I have always thought that cobain death probably wasn't a suicide.
However given cobains personality and his intelligence he could of set up the scene before to make it seem it wasn't a suicide or he could of had help of which he wanted.
Dude I have known it was Keefe D since back in the day! Wtf?!
His nephew Orlando was the gunman I believe.
does that say 80s or 90s?
THANK GOD AND YOU ❤🤘🇬🇧NOW ITS COURTNEYS TURN TO GET ARRESTED ❤
Do your research into Tupac's parents' political activism.
Why , what are ya getting at ?
I really hope Kurt gets his justice. knew the story was bs
Courtney Love will slip up eventually it’s just unfortunate how long we have to wait for it
Now they need to dish out some justice for Kurt Cobain, and his fans. If they can catch Tupacs murderer after almost 30 years; then they can snag Courtney Love, and Kurt’s killer(s) too.
Tupac is the son of black panthers of the marxist-leninist black panther party. He was definitely moving in the direction of massive change for all the oppressed in the world. A step forward for what the Black Panthers were trying to do in the 60s & 70s, but in a different way. This was a plan of action discussed with his incarcerated stepfather Mutulu Shakur. Tupac was obviously a student of black liberation, wanted to make changes, and tried to do so. He always kept the proletariat in the forefront of his efforts and awareness. He discussed it in many of his interviews. Its also obv he was spooked (understandably, to say the least) by life being threatened and these attempts on his life unfortunately inflamed the east coast west coast thing.
Its important to recognize the FBI, CIA, etc constellation of alphabet agencies execution of flooding americas streets with drugs to target and destroy the black panthers, black & brown neighborhoods, poor white neighborhoods, poor working class, & left-wing movements in the late 70s and into the 80s. The war on drugs as we all know was a complete load of BS. We're the most militarized country with the most military bases in all the world... and we cant stop the massive flood of severely addictive drugs into our country.. what a load of BS lol. All this is documented and obvious as well.
Kurt always had the awareness of oppressed people as well, my personal opinion was that Kurt wouldve likely headed in the same direction of Tupac as well. He was always socially sharp when it came to anything related to this subject. Through the punk scene, he was definitely exposed to the history of oppression and corruption. I think he mightve been trying to figure out how to go about revolution and stood back until he figured when wouldve been the moment to strike up the movement. Cool to think of how it couldve been possible to see Tupac and Kurt (not saying it would happen exactly like this, just that once a revolution is sparked, it crosses small differences and what not) coalesce a revolutionary movement, cuz there is obv solidarity across the oppressed struggle. There are photos of Kurt wearing a Bobby Seale for president pin somewhere that Ive seen before.
Diddy should be getting nervous, nervous. News flash :: keefe d found dead in cell 🤔
I beleive after Courtney Love has died, the truth will come out, and the hitman will be charged ( If he is alive still) Or maybe Allen Wrench is the real killer, like he said by himself.
DOIN' NAT FAWNKEY CHICKEN NOW & iwas a Kool Moe Dee fan..
His name was pronounced Dewayne and his nephew shot tupaac but he was in the car and put it together
