Spot on Mike. Box is talking out of his arse. Obviously they haven’t got anything decent to show on their platform apart from Batman. Not good
Yeah that was my takeaway. There are no more major surprises/big IPs coming from them this year. We've got Batman, Alien, Just Dance (that game is going to be HUGE), & Metro all this year, plus Behemoth. I'm still curious what 4 of the 9 studios they own are working on, but likely are not ready to show.
"Remarkable Quest 3 V66 passthrough improvement"! This sounds like a staged question to me. I don't notice a difference at all. The colours are still washed out and the distortion is still there. I had 3 PTC V66 updates, then the official V66 update over the weekend. Wrist buttons? Big deal.
I saw the difference right away when I look at my phone and monitor. The two biggest complaints when Quest 3 released were (a) can’t read screens and (b) the warping. Addressing both of those is a massive step up.
Also, I knew we were dealing with low megapixel cameras, so I wasn’t expecting dynamic color range and light balancing. The camera are about iPhone 3 quality, for reference.
Maybe I have a partial update. I know they do that. Sometimes they roll out the features separately. There is definitely no passthrough improvement in my headset.
