Thoughts on the length of the video? Too long? Or good?
I think it’s perfect
Question iv been buying hand tools since watching your videos now I only have Facebook market place and garage sales to find them. How do you buy them like these lots? I would like some other ways of getting my hands on some USA made hand tools.
I think it's a hood length of video!!!
Good. Lotsa people have low attention spans. Let them scroll through. I like longer videos and was interested in what you were showing.
Good, get to see each wrench and context
The wire cutters at 15:21 are for cutting the mild steel wires used to tie newspaper bundles back in the 50's and 60's. They would be given to paper boys and newsstands by the newspaper. I used to have a few of them and a couple of 33 gallon cardboard drums that the wire was dispensed from thanks to my Dad's job.
Thanks for the info! Thank you for watching!
I agree, the pliers box was a better deal than the wrenches. Thanks for the video!
The wrenches were not a good deal but not a rip off. Funny how some things go "cheap" and others get expensive.
The nippers are tile cutters. The Diamond linesman pliers look like they cut an energized and the tool was grounded.
Both of those make sense! Thanks for the info! Thanks for watching!
Great assortment, more winners than duds. Congrats
Got lucky on this one! Sometime it goes the other way. Thanks for watching!
The marking tool looks like a soapstone marker for welding/fabrication
That is what I was thinking, I was freezing at this point with it only being 34 degrees out so my mind wasn't fully working. Thank for watching!
I got a diamond joint pliers with the green handle and a sk tongue and groove with green handle as well for 50 cents at garage sale!
I love garage sales, usually a better deal than anywhere else. I don't see many tools around me at garage sales. Thanks for watching!
The Yamaha item is to oil up motorcycle cables. Clamps on the and you shoot WD-40 in the small hole with the little tube that comes with the WD
I appreciate that! I figured it was motorcycle related but would have never figured that out. Thank you for watching!
The tools at about 26:00 are Babbitt scrapers for scraping Babbitt bearings.
thanks for the info! Thank you for watching!
Wrenches not such a good deal imho. Not terrible, not great. Pliers box was good. Flex head was nice. Love those things.
I agree, at times we all pay a bit too much for something. Thank you for watching!
@@thetoolbandit you broke even then some, but the piers were great
25:29 texton coil terminal adapter part no 303
Thanks for the info, and for watching!
the pliers with the v i think are vaicheck
Thanks for the info! That makes sense. Thanks for watching!

Welcome! Thank you! Thank you for watching!
Bearing scraper
White metal!
Yes! Thank you! I was thinking it was a barrel bung hole tool at first. Thanks for watching!
After several military moves my craftsman socket set has been scavenged. I am trying to replace the 35 missing 1/2 inch drive sockets and the 7 missing 3/8 inch drive sockets. Where is a good source(s) for replacing these in your opinion?
Honestly, I would try to find a few sets at garage sales or flea markets. Ebay works but for as many as you need it will get expensive. Thanks for watching!
@@thetoolbandit Thank you.
Decent price if you average them out.
Correct! Sometimes I will spend a bit more on a lot if I picked up a few that fell below my max. Thanks for watching!
where do you sell them?
On eBay but none of these are listed. Thank you for watching!
@thetoolbandit what's your ebay link so I can put it in my favorites
