It's nice to see recipes kept alive. My family has started making traditional dishes from our culture in place of normal holiday food to try and keep some recipes alive.

These are beautiful.. The Italian side of my family makes a cookie like this,. different shape ,similar method.. And yes important to toast or get the seeds already toasted , Otherwise they will not toast during the baking
