Oddball question? My mom is building and restoring this same Jeep, but has the Delta stainless steel body on it. She's located in the Philippines, lol, crazy story, I'm doing her research work here in the US, in NC, and helping her out back home on the Islands via broken English and facetime lol. Plot Twist....can only use Toyota parts. Any ideas or a prayer to be shared? lol. Far Cry for help, however, she's hell bent on making this happen, and all the forums have basically laughed and scratched their heads at me. Great video series. Thanks! Following my parts list manual I found the spring should go first and the link attaches to the hole in the body.
I would recommend putting the link with the hooks up. That way, it is less likely to hook things while driving over them.
