- The forecast was awful but there was a weather window and time for a short trip. I left Port an Dhu and paddled round the Skerries at Portrush Northern Ireland. (Skerries is just a name for offshore rocks). Glad I used my stable Dagger Stratos as the sea was surprisingly lumpy on the exposed north side.

So true. Two of the lads took off to enjoy the sunshine with a 6 knot Ebb rush - Magilligan - Strove. That will help them get through the working week. Thanks for posting !
Beautiful trip! Thank you for this nice Video and best wishes from switzerland.
Hello from Ireland and thanks. You have beautiful mountains and we have beautiful coast.
Thanks for showing me around!🤗
I love the contrast between our waters and yours, endless variety
@@davidpoots8362 yes, nature have so much variety!🙌
I have only kayaked on the far side of a Skerries a few times. It is amazing how much wilder the ocean side is. There is a channel in the large Skerries which is fun to shoot through on a calm-ish day. Though obviously not safe to try solo without a helmet.
I love playing in there, but it can be challenging (ie brown trousers scary)
Nice one👍
Oh yes, they are accessible but still feel wild
Nice opportunity taken there David. 'He who Dares' eh ?
Thanks John, got to get out when we can
