Nicely done there and a flat calm seas class.

We hoped for leprechaun gold, but proved you don't need wind to enjoy sailing

Of course, dolphins eating helium balloons explains why they make strange squeaky sounds

How does the scaffie compare to your dabber? Does not having a centre board cause a lot of leeway?

I find the Scaffie doesn't make much leeway. It points up reasonably well, although the Dabber has a jib and can sit slightly closer to the wind. The Scaffie doesn't tack as well as the Dabber. I added a pulley to my downhaul which really improved upwind performance and find the convenience of a lugsail outweighs the hassle of managing 3 sails on a Dabber. Average speed over ground and ability to cope with a heavy sea is similar in both boats.
