    We searched and searched and paid about 11K for our used truck. Sold all the equipment inside and bought all new equipment. We’re roughly 18K in and our inspection is today!

    They still require you pay tax. When you file it ask total taxable sales and taxable purchases so plastics and cups you will pay it to the straight even if you calculates it into the cost of the food.

    Do i need a commissary just to freaking cut lemons on site? THATS the only prep step I will be doing as I want to start a lemonade stand. I read the laws for the permits and it sounds like a need to psy for commissary use JUST for that

      if the states require it than yes most states do, and it is hard when you dont have much to prep

      yes it is like any other business and you are protecting yourself from any lawsuits that you could be personally liable for

      yes a "base of operation" as its known you will have to show proof of the kitchen you will be utilizing as well.

      yes before yo do see what type of customers you have in the city or county you plan on opening. Certain foods do better in certain parts of the country, and have an appeal in certain areas. Not all food trucks will be great based on menu alone.
