- After hours of compilation, I finally finished a Tales of Xillia 2 compilation video. There is NO story line battle quotes and no coliseum quotes to avoid spoilers, but spoilers may still be inevitable.

Not conquer the world, he wanted to save his kingdom from destruction
Once the barrier separating Rieze Maxia from Elympios was removed, there was the threat of Elympian attack, so Gaius sought Maxwell's power to drive them back, but Maxwell was an old dick and refused because he's an ass so Gaius had to take his power by force (it was sorta one of those honorable goals, shifty means scenarios)
As for the genocide, his generals acted without his knowledge, mostly Wingul and Agria.

Where they both talk with one another. she forgive him before anyone else in the cast. She sees him as an older brother. She said that in xillia 2 I don't remember where in the part of the game though, I played it enough to remember it. both Alvin and Jude.

I'm waiting for Xillia and Xillia 2 to be animated(especially Xillia 2). Love the game, good gameplay carried from the previous games, great character development and interaction as usual and not to forget, love the OP song Song-4-u.

In some ways, yeah. He switches between three different weapons (Scythes, Twin Blades and Greatswords) in his games like Ludger does, and he even has a similar design. Ludger was a straight hero though, and Haseo spent quite a while as an Anti-Hero being "The Terror of Death".

There is so few, in my opinion. No humour in them, really, you see some glimpes of it, but NOTHING like all of the ones in this video and this game.
