I agree with you it is kind of weak it does have great performance though 10 to 12 hours I get out of it at least
Understated elegance. This is for the quietly confident and self-assured who do not need to command attention by shouting from the rooftops.
I think the problem is that you initially started comparing it to Dior Homme Parfum. Why? It doesn’t have to be similar at all!!! You got biased from the beginning without giving it chance to stand for what it is!!

No, I am not bored with it, I love it and think it is the best from the line. I think it is strong enough not to be overwhelming so as not to choke anyone out. I love the iris note that flankers do not have and love that it is not too powdery. I love the way the citrus lives throughout the life of the wear and I feel this is so versatile, you can wear it all year round for all occasions. I am glad I picked it up and I will be wearing it for a while. Will definitely be in my daily rotation.

I've just bought the new Armani Code Parfum. I like it as it's a nice smelling casual fragrance that is not over powering.
Over Powering = Stand Off.
Not Over Powering = Stand Closer.
I was ready to write this off after all the influencers trashed it. Then I wore for it a day (got a sample at Macy’s) and it was incredibly pleasant and developed well with my skin. A ton of people are really going to dig it. It is a perfect office scent. It’s durability is incredible.
He trashed it because he thought it was gonna be a deep dark iris fragrance like dior homme parfum, i think his expectations beat him on that one but its a good versitile elegant fragrance if it was deep and dark it would only be for winter. Its for every season and every occasion.
I actually found most influencers praising it, but I tried it and found it predictable and underwhelming. Not far from Le Male Le Parfum which itself isn’t far from most modern sweet vanilla/tonka scents. Nothing new

armani code absolut is stunning, spicy, warm, rich and sweet…. am shocked you think its not strong, i reslly like the parfum and its strong to me
I received a 1.2mL free sample of this, and I wasn't expecting anything but it is great! Code DNA with powdery iris just works for me. I don't think it is fair to compare any fragrance to Dior Homme Parfum though. At least pick one from the same brand.
I think "Parfum" has become more of a marketing term than actual concentration. Only us fragheads understand fragrance concentration.
Sounds like you went in with the expectation that it was going to be on the level of Dior Homme Parfum and that was a mistake.

Thanks for the review and sorry for the bad experience... Indeed L'Oreal destroys brands and fragrances. Think about Mugler, YSL and Azzaro: most of the good fragrances were axed and what's left it's diluted... All the best and take care!
This is the best in the series for sure. By far. Feels more refined and just more lovable.
The only reviewer of perfumes who has credibility and does not compliment the perfume, because it is very shy, and many reviewers say that it is very strong, and do not over spray the perfume.

Speculate much 🤧🤣🤣🤣 I like it well enough. But comparing it to Dior homme parfum is like comparing apples to school buses 🤷🏼♂️.. I picked this up to replace my empty code Profumo . I Dig It✅
...... I rate all my scents by the simple test... Apply it before bed to pulse points,... And if it's still present in the morning, then it's above average . This is above average in my book. P
The dry down is the best part of this
The dry down smells like Le Male Le Parfum.
This fragrance is the 2022 best fragrance.
I leaved Armani in the past a long time ago, I don't spend my money in their fragrances anymore, I'm not even interested in the Stronger with You series, I keep the good memories of the original Acqua di Gio and Essenza, of which I still have almost a full bottle. Thank God there are still designer fragrances that worth it, can't wait for the new releases from Dior. Thank you Sebastian!!!
Just bought the Dior Homme after watching your video, but will probably return it. I’m not appreciating the dry down. It’s a bit too botanical for me and I would have appreciated a bit more wood or musk. Great smell non the less. But I did also buy the Dior Savage Elixir for about $230, $80 more than Dior Homme, and I’m absolutely loving it. It’s for light spicy woody musk smell that is lovely. It’s heavily oil based as well.
Dior Savage Elixir is a Masterpiece. It's my new favourite fragrance.

I recently tried a whole slew of highly recommended designer frags, and the only ones I could even smell were two celebrities (Rihanna Rebl fleur and Ariana Cloud 2.0). I was so shocked! I haven’t used designer in years, and I’m glad I didn’t. I also got a set of samples from Fragrance Du Bois, and some of them were way too weak!
I'm confused on why you are comparing it to Dior homme Parfum?? They are completely different fragrances. I highly recommend Armani Code Parfum. It's a solid 9/10 fragrance. This stuff is masterfully blended. However you overpaid. I'm on my 3rd bottle of Code Parfum and gotten every 4.2 oz bottle for $99 range and it's well worth it. I love the scent. I've had so many beautiful women compliment me on this stuff it's fantastic. Also just because a fragrance is a Parfum version doesn't mean it has to smell like Dior homme Parfum ha.
Uh, maybe you might pay a bit closer attention, please. I was actually comparing the fact that this Parfum doesn't come close to the thickness of the other parfum, DHP. There was no comparison to the actual smell itself. But I guess you missed that! Besides this is not a good release. Not worth calling it a Parfum when it doesn't even act like a Parfum! ;)

Sebastian I smelled this today. It's definitely light but it smells great man. Ya it's nothing like Dior Homme Parfum or those stronger type parfums. It's actually fresh and a little powdery and could be worn all year I think.
Dior HP is a masterpiece for shure, but comparing Armani Code Parfum to it is similar comparing V8 to Tesla!😂 Both ARE masterpieces but targeted to total different consumer sectors! Sebastian maybe got wrong with his criticism in the first place, eventough he is a masterpiece himself to state these fragrances coming and going!👍

I’m surprised you have not smelled the Profumo and Absolu versions as those two are far and away the best. Absolu is my fave as it has a delicious gourmand type of experience.
I bet 9/10 people like this scent better than DHP in a blind test😂

I think you were a little too harsh on the review. Just appreciate that we have a new release, not an easy thing to do. Everyone has different tastes, I saw a video you did on the Guerlain L'hoome Ideal line which you like and I think smells too dated and disappointing. Give it a chance, maybe it will grow on you.

It's Code Absolu that is the star of the series in my opinion - it's the only one that performs on me - granted I have not tried the newer EDP version.
Armani Code Ultimate was their best from all the Flankers. It has this slight ‘edge’ to it, you definitely get the Code DNA but there’s a certain ‘sharpness’ to it. I’d recommend you grab a bottle if you’re lucky enough to come across it.

I agree with you, i smelled this when i was in Spain and i felt like it's quite weak. I was really dissapointed so i end up buying the Emporio Armani Stronger With You over this.

Can you say the same thing about Sauvage Parfum? I recently just picked it up but I feel it doesn’t have that punch like the EDP version.
I guess we’ll just have to wait for the “elixir” version and see if that one will live up to what Dior can accomplish

Well, Code is mostly for office wear, which I used in when I graduated. Very muted and safe for working settings. Nothing memorable but good enough to keep you smelled hygiene. I guess all the code line using the same concept. Muted and safe.
Come back to wearing this one , it’s clean beautiful scent . You will like it .
I get great longevity on this one. Projection is more than okay. I don’t know why you don’t feel the same. Maybe skin chemistry?

@@arastu1774 Sorry, didn’t see this, Ralph’s Club Parfum is decent, Code Parfum was a cash grab IMO. If you already have Ralph’s Club EDP then I wouldn’t bother getting the Parfum.

I was not really excited about this one, in fact have even skipped recent videos from other reviewers, just wasn´t interested. But yours made me curious: maybe this one from Armani will manage to wow Sebastian? Let's see... Well, not surprised it disappointed you big time. Armani is one brand that has never been compelling enough for me. I don't really dislike any of their fragrances (that I've smelled,) but so far have never felt compelled to pull the trigger on absolutely any of their offerings.
What I would be really excited about would be any new release from Chanel.
Armani…an elegant clothier but his perfumes always seemed weak and underwhelming, except for the prices, which are overwhelming in price but weak in reality. Just my opinion.
I only own two of Armani’s , the Iris and the Incense and they are both nice for a moment and then disappear.
on me it lasted 3 days on my arm then i had to wash it off. it smells amazing and i plan to buy it again

@@ThePerfumeGuy some people's receptors are a little sensitive to certain smells, while others are more sensitive to these same notes. especially this perfumepeople around me , made me remark that I had taken a bath with perfume.I usually do 5 sprays

It's not weak at all.
Refillable is only good for them! Not for the customer because you will get a "used bottle" and they will pocket the price difference for themselves... in the end the retail price will catch up the same price before the refilable version...

I haven't come across any Parfum concentration flanker from any designer that can match DHP,including all of the Tom Ford's! This makes the review unfair. The TF Parfum you did last week is also subdued compared to DHP.

I was looking forward to this. You pissed in my Cheerios. Lol. I will still go test it. I am glad I bought backup bottles of Code Ultimate. That is currently the only one I own of the twenty flankers! Armani needs a new stand alone fragrance. Move away from Code and ADG.
Check out GentScent’s first impression video he will get you back on track. This guy sprayed it on a cardboard. But by all means test it out yourself first

Still try it out for yourself. I really dig Sebastian's taste but he's not who Armani is marketing this towards. This is light, understated, and modern. DHP is the opposite.

To think that some people with a lack of knowledge about fragrances will spend their money on this and think they got a great deal. I don’t own any Armani Code, not a fan at all.
Aren’t Armani Code Profumo and Absolu Parfum concentrations? And don’t they actually perform. I agree that they should move on from the Code series, bring back Profumo and stop making new versions.

Code EDP smells like an amped up version of the old EDT. The EDP is great. Absolu & Parfumo are INCREDIBLE.

Frag Mental also was disappointed. funny that Ashton liked it much. I tend to trust Sebastián's nose on this one. and sad how brands sometimes screw their iconic product design. this new bottle looks like other thousands boring out there. the traditional Armni Code bottles. when you see them, you knew it's Armni Code. period
Opening is too heavy made me cough, lemon smells like cleaner, dry down is much better with Tonka bean, edp is my favourite
Curiosly everytime i wear that fragance girls tells me i smell so freaking goo, actually that one and ghiaccio nero are the fragance that more compliments give me

The original was amazing until it was reformulated and became much weaker. The Profumo, Absolu, and Colonia versions are all very good. Profumo and Absolu are very strong and perform extremely well, both last 8-12hrs easily.
So, what’s the difference between eau du parfum and parfum? And where does extrait de parfum fit in?? I’m still getting the hang of fragrance jargon. So sorry to watch you experience disappointment with this one :/

Code Parfum not bad, but nothing like the legendary Codes Absolu and Profumo. Though Code Parfum has a future, you can only wonder who within the company made the idiotic decision to retire the Code Profumo in favor of Code Parfum. Once Code Absolu goes down, I'm giving the code line the finger and moving on.

To me it gives me prada l’homme edt-vibes because of the iris. A great every day office scent, but not a parfum.
This reminded me alit of JPG le parfum but le parfum is better and one of my favorites. This one was meh for some reason even though it was similar

It is magnetic but you have to insert it in the right position which I think is cool because it plays with the concept of the fragrance
