I had a friend coming from Portugal pick me up a bottle after your countless mentions of it. It was a full blind buy for me. The first spray I took of it I was mortified by how much I hated it. I continued to try it for several weeks before I finally came around to it. And now? I think this scent comes from another planet. It is off the charts good. I recently resprayed after some time had passed, and it took me back to the night of my last spray. I love, love, love, love this scent.
last year while I was in Paris I was told by one of the CDs that the 75ml was on its way out. They didn’t have it there either. The biggest Sephora in Paris told me the same thing. It looks like it’s an online thing now. I ended up finding two bottles at a Duty Free shop at Charles De Gaulles Airport and I bought them there. I looked all over Paris and I freaking found it at the airport.
There is no difference between the older 75ml and the newer 100ml bottles. The formulation code is exactly the same on both. If it was reformed this code would be different. I think the difference you or others might be smelling is just the difference in the aging process. A parfum that has aged for a few years longer than another will have slight differences. That is exactly what you are smelling.
I agree with you on the differences between the 75 ml and the 100 ml versions. You can feel that the 100 ml one is somehow thinner but, it's difficult to pinpoint what elements it's lost compared to the 75 ml version which I guess is a good thing.
It's like they knew they were giving us an ever so slightly weaker version of almost the original so they gave us 25 ml extra to spray a bit more liberally 😊
I wondered the same thing about my Stronger with you edt. Seems like my smaller bottle is richer, deeper, and more long lasting than my 100ml???
@@uncledonteg Unfortunately, never tried 'Stronger With You' but, if your question is about Dior Homme Parfum then, I definitely used to be able to detect the remnants of a leathery rose the next day with the 75 ml version that I struggle to detect with the new 100 ml one. It's there but it's fainter.
Yes i can smell the difference to, but in the drydown they are good as even
Dior Homme Parfum and Intense are my favorite fragrances ever. For me they're niche quality. (I have yet to try Dior Homme Original and Dior Homme 2005)
DHP is not that hard to find outside of the US btw.
Just got this a couple days ago. It's a masterpiece. Gorgeous scent, truly special.
I'm lucky as I bought my bottle back when it was rumored to being taken off the market a couple years back. Due to all the high praise for it, it was a safe blind buy because I knew I could flip it, if for some reason I did not like it. It became part of my collection and I wear it a couple times each year which is usually what my favorites get. There's just not enough days in a year to wear them all more than that.

I love the DNA. My most favourit of the line is the first DH 2005 Version from Olivier Polge and not from Demachy
My mother traveled to Italy a couple of weeks ago and was able to find one last bottle at a Sephora there. I absolutely fell in love with it and now am terrified of running out.
For those who are looking for DHP, my friend found it in Duty Free store at Barcelona Airport. I was lucky to find one, he bought one for me.

I actually wore this one today and it's one of those fragrances which makes me think I could probably sell most of my collection and wear this everyday.

Btw, you’ve lost one brother from the line - Dior Homme Cologne with silver stem (2007). It was released before the “white” version (2013)

I wholeheartedly agree that Dior Homme Parfum is a Masterpiece. I do, however, prefer Dior Homme Intense which does not have the leather note found in the Parfum and thus I find far more wearable.
The 2 bottles of Dior Homme Parfum I acquired last year came from a good friend who visited the Dior Boutique in Paris.
Can you tell me the major differences between the two? Is it just the leather note? thanks
Good morning & Happy Thanksgiving, I just sprayed on each wrist 2 sprays-DHI & DHP-for a current analysis rather than to solely rely on memory. And remember this is entirely subjective and how my skin reacts. DHI is brighter and sweeter with a more pronounced Iris note that some have characterized as lipsticky. But unlike most fragrances with the lipsticky note, I don’t find it here to be a pronounced lipsticky nor feminine leaning though I think a woman would enjoy wearing this. The Iris note is wrapped in some other sweet note that tames it to perfection and I get the slight powdery note that is generally inherent with Iris. I find myself decidedly sniffing my wrist with DH Intense & far less so with the Parfum. DH Parfum is a darker & deeper scent with an exquisite leather note that doesn’t dominate unlike Memo’s line of leather. DHP is more apt for suit & tie or date night while DHI is wearable day and night. Drydown on both, to my young nose, is both elegant and sophisticated. Both are gems. I guess scarcity and lack of easy accessibility will drive more people to blind buy the Parfum. Both are perfection, but my vote between these two would go to Dior Homme Intense.

Truly a beast fragrance. I sprayed two sprays yesterday afternoon, and the this morning 16+ hours later I could still clearly smell it.
I have not been fortunate enough to try Dior Homme Parfum, but absolutely LOVE Dior Homme Intense
Good frag but seriously powerful stuff. Go easy on the sprayer or you could easily choke out a room. Personally I find the Intense more wearable.
Agree. I found it to be too intense for my taste. But I do consider myself lucky for getting a bottle of the first release.

I got mine off eBay a few years ago. Just make sure the seller is legit (lots of good reviews, in your home country, never Eastern Europe!) I’ve never had a problem

Dior Homme Intense is by far my best blind buy for my bf. I wear it some times.
Yesterday, I almost got to buy "Dior Homme Parfum" (it was in my cart), but it sold out before I could finish the purchase. I'm consoled to some extent because I at least have two bottles of "Dior Homme Intense". Also, I'm very excited because yesterday, I ordered a backup bottle of "Basilica" by Milano Fragranze: it is definitely one of my favorite fragrances and I got it for an excellent price.

Yup, same thing for me. I have ordered this perfume twice, the second time was a couple of weeks ago. No problem really, but I live in Sweden too. It’s addictive, indeed. I love the DHI as well, a bit different but great.
Hows the longevity now adays? I had one from 2017 and it only lasted max 3 hours?? So Im ordering a new 100ml

I confirm availability on the European Dior sites, I bought a bottle about a month ago.
The BEST!!! Found a 100ml bottle on Ebay last year, and have absolutely no regrets of over paying.

Because in reality, not UA-cam land, it doesn’t provide substantial profit. Meaning, it’s not that popular resulting in poor sales. That along with ingridient costs etc.

I found it at Gatwick airport World Duty Free in London. They didn't even have a tester out and seemed surprised when I told them it is not available widely. It was a blind buy after your recommendation Sebastian, and it is a masterpiece, so thanks!

Dior Homme Intense started my fragrance journey from just applying fragrance to actually appreciating it. I feel Homme Parfume is my holy grail fragrance and I am happy to say I own only two bottles less than you 😂
Managed to pickup 2 bottles at Marrakech duty free a month ago! They had a third which I should have grabbed too. These weren't on display I had to ask for them

The stock is low for the 100 ml and 50 ml and the 150 ml is really hard to find now. If you have concierge service via Visa/Mastercard/Amex etc, they can usally get this. Might be expensive shipping but it might be worth asking.

I found it in Valencia, Spain. Actually I bought the last bottle in a store called "Primor".
The 100ml is exactly the same formula (even says formula code on the box), any differences are due to aging. Since early last year it's been readily available all over Europe and on the EU Dior sites, occasionally it goes out of stock in some places, but it's easy to get generally. Never saw it in the usual stores or airports, but it's everywhere online, several parfum stores, warehouses etc
There's only one other reason people might smell a difference since the formula code hasn't changed and that's because the raw materials for the oils may have a different source of origin.
I don’t even remember where I found my 75 ml bottle when it first came out. But I’m glad I got it when I did and I’ll cherish it for as long as I can

I live in Norway and have been looking around here and in Denmark. Dior Homme original does not exist here any longer. The new one, as you say, smells completely different. Dior Homme Parfum cannot be found here either. Dior Homme Intense is ussually available. To me the difference between these two is that tje Intense version has a masculine edge, while the Parfum version is totally unisex. I want to get the parfum!!

I've heard how amazing this fragrance is from many people. I've never even smelled it. Going to have to remedy that soon.
Intoxicating masterpiece, but you have to be a fan of the scent of high-end lipstick. Which I am. As a kid I was always tempted to eat it, but I didn't have a death wish.
Just in case this might help anyone, I bought my bottle of dior homme parfum last summer from the Glasgow Airport duty-free, they had plenty of them at the time.
I have been using it ! Finishing the 3rd bottle and like you said. it's so difficult to get. I'm from Singapore and it doesn't ever appear in our Dior counters or boutiques. Actually it I got it accidentally !!! When i started using Dior Homme Original, I quite like it and my friend was heading to France, I asked him to get 1 DHP for me - just to try out! And booom! OMG ... loving it until now.

Currently in Paris right now, got myself a bottle. They have them at the Dior at Galerie Lafayette Haussmann. They do not have it on display, they pulled it out for me. Just like you said, they had a few bottles.

I saw it twice in Amsterdam today, including in Douglas where you can also order it online. Weirdly it's not available from Douglas in Germany and nor have I seen it recently in Germany.
I just bought a bottle in Spain at Sephora. It was not visible to the public but in a cabinet. I was told by the first saleswoman that they don't have it but a second one came to my rescue and gave me a bottle. I got lucky. As far as the smell goes very nice, really like it.
That's funny because I purchased mine in Spain last month at this small fragrance boutique near my hotel and it was on a discount plus my tax-free refund ☺

Yeah got one on the UK site. I saw it on the off chance before they sent out the automatic email notifications to people who had signed up for when it was restocked. Was tempted to but a few to sell but didn't as I think it's a bit unfair.

Managed to get a 100ml bottle at Belfast City Airport last Sunday. Bargain price of £91, after a promotion. It was the only one they had in stock. I had to ask the sales assistant if they had any. My lucky day.

In Sept. of 2020, I tried a sample of "Dior Homme" at Macy's, but I'm not sure if it was the "Original" or the "2020". I just know that I liked what I smelled and I should go back to sample again. Whichever one it was, I'll put it on my list of fragrances to get.
It was the 2020, it rolled out in late 2019 and officially launched in 2020 so by Sept 2020 Macys would’ve had to have removed all their older formulation bottles. And honestly, I love the 2020 version

Been hunting for the Parfum for ages. Went to Malta last week and they had bottles and bottles in the airport. I also noticed that it's back on Dior's website (in the UK) at least

Omg this stuff is so strong. I have Amouage Interlude and other beasts but 3 sprays of this and I’m overwhelmed. I bought a 2019 version bottle but is the new 100ml bottle any different?

The intense does have slightly more cocoa in it as opposed to the parfum version. PARFUM version is my favorite! It will be my Thanksgiving day fragrance

My favourite used to be YSL M7. I found the intense just to light for my skin.
Dior Homme Parfum is definitely in my top 5 best fragrances ever if I exclude attars.
This reiminds me so much of YSL M7 the original (brown bottle)
