I personally like the parfum more because the parfum works better with my skin, but I had the EDP and decided to give it to a friend of mines and regretted it ever since.

Hello! Just got the Parfum Code and yes it's simply sublime. My wife can't get enough of this scent line in general. I've had the EDP version and it's great as well but I'm definitely leaning into this Parfum a bit more. Thanks for your wonderful review I really enjoyed it!!
Spent a day at the mall smelling fragrances. My impressions:
EDT - Best for daytime active wear. I imagine myself outside doing things. Kayaking, disc golf, quick jog. It's sexy so you can still take it with you on dates. Smells like a better version of allure homme sport eau intense to my nose.
EDP - A little more intimate with some added sweetness. The subtle spice of the EDT has been removed, and in it's place you get a warmer more relaxing "cloud" feeling. I would say this one is great for just going out to cafes, dinner, date nights. It's an intimate more relaxed pace of a scent, and it just seems to really want a more laid back intimate experience.
Parfum - This one adds a lot of powdery clean freshness layered on top of smooth leather. It's the classiest sibling in this lineup, and I think it would do its best when dressed up. It's the most "Date Night" vibe of the 3, and I think it would do that very well.
My preferences are the EDT and the Parfum, but the uses of the fragrances are a bit different. EDT is about activity. It's got it's classiness, but it's much more active (at least in my mind), and the Parfum is just an awesome date-night or dressed up occasion fragrance.
The Parfum gets me loads of compliments at work and lasts all day on my skin! 🔥
I feel Armani Code Parfum is like a 2-shot fragrance. First 10 minutes/20 minutes it's a relatively fresh one but then it settles down and becomes something intimate and sweet. That final stage lasts and lasts for a long time. I didn't care for the EDT though I always thought it was a good fragrance, but this one is one of my go to for everyday. Have not tried the EDP.
I'd like to note for posterity they changed it, EDT now cost too much and lost all the good notes, and as of December 2023 most of the last formulation are fakes. EDP is very close to the EDT but has a very vanilla suede woody vibe, I found it office friendly. It's nice, but not as date nighty. Parfum is the perfect office fragrance. I feel almost like women are quieter around me when I wear it, it's hard to explain. I did once hear someone walking past me in a crowd "it smells like a good man here." So. I guess women find it "this is what the good man smells like." I see it personally as the "this is what a successful dude angling for the boardroom smells like" kind of fragrance. Like you can go places in this scent and a tailored suit.
I think women liked the original EDT ngl, I thought of it as a more office friendly one personally but it's an all occasions thing. My understanding is the reformulation in the new bottle is more casual, fresher. It's lost the same citrussy opening, and it's also not got that original star anise spicy thing going on with tobacco and leather. The main problem was the way it lasted, but it used to be cheap so I didn't care. Now that it's expensive meh. At least they have EDP still afaik. She's right btw, Parfum smells like success, it smells like a 32 yo urban yet masculine guy who's successful and climbing the company ladder to me. The opening on parfum just smells weirdly like, idk how to explain almost like anosmic pine needles and crushed sage and coronavirus to me, I think the opening on parfum is pretty bad and it creates instant nose blindness but the drydown and the base is soooo good. Either go with EDP for more social occasion or Parfum for more business. Ohh. She just said it's more sexy? I think my instincts are all off tbh, I totally see that as the office one but then again I saw D&G The One edt as being office and not date fragrance, so...I don't think I register what women find sexy accurately when it come to fragrance. I think I am registering date night netflix n chill vibe off them like Armani Code Profumo, Azzaro's The Most Wanted and Wanted by Night, Man in Black, these are for dates to me. I see Code Absolu as a thing for like class anniversary, wedding, formal settings. So maybe what people say is sexy is what I'm registering as more formal.
I'm using Armani code Eau de parfum , I believe no other Armani at least can beat it! It's unique and long lasting!

For my taste, Armani Code Parfum is perfect. Addicted to the scent and performance/longevity is all day! Top 3 for me is 3 - Bad Boy Cobalt 2 - Sauvage EDP 1 - Armani Code Parfum.
I both little samples of the three, but liked the Armani code Parfum the most. I ended up buying the bigger bottle of Armani Code Parfum

I had the original code EDT and loved it! The new code edt is much milder. Code EDP is much more like the original, a beautiful fragrance, absolutely love it! I would say it's the most noticeable of the 3. I have also got the parfum, I absolutely love the scent and depth but I don't think it's as strong as the EDP, totally different scents to each other too.... I would actually love a stronger version of Parfum!
I wish they would bring back Armani Mania. God that was an addictive frag. I love Code Absolu 🤤
The Armani Code line is one of the best designer ranges out there - period! The EDT always has been and always will be one of the best everyday fragrances out there. The EDP has more presence and adds a touch of class with the powdery dry down Better longevity too. The parfum is for me a very rare example of a cologne that can easily be worn on a special evening occasion where usually only an expensive niche fragrance would do. Brilliant release and the new bottle design would suit the whole line better.
It appears that these new releases come at a price though. It looks like the award winning Absolu, Profumo and Colonia versions have been discontinued, and they will be sorely missed. .

Have only just recently got into the Armani Code line with the EDT, and more recently the Parfum. The EDT is awesome, but the Parfum of 2022 is a real gem!

I got a sample of the parfum and it shocked me. I wasn’t a huge fan of the OG, but this one stood out. It’s longevity and durability was impressive. Surprisingly fresh open. Very nice.

I had armani code colonia I like it was not long lasting But I love Armani Code Absolu so much more than the edp version and I love the edp version alot but code Absolu takes the cake for me in my opinion

Wow the timing of this video is crazy! On my way home yesterday I walked onto my local discounter just to check out some colognes and what happens to catch my eyes? Armani code! EDT, EDP versions were the ones that I could see from eye level. Not sure if they had the parfum version but most likely I'm sure. So the comparisons were greatly appreciated! @@saulgoodmanandriese8658 they are similar, but they are for different occasions. le male is more sweet, more suitable for parties, club, while armani is more fresh and for serious occasions, more comprehensive. both are very good and very long-lasting perfumes

We recently went to the mall to see if I could find my coveted Armani Code Profumo that I used to treasure but since had sold in 2018.
I found this randomly not knowing it even existed. Wow! I was blown away by Armani Code Parfum. I bought the big bottle right away after an amazing first impression. Great review to watch! It’s nice to see what others think. 🧠
I tried Armani Code Parfum today. It smells like my Prada Sport Lunna Rossa. I really like it. I didn't try EDP though. The lady at Macy's told me that Parfum will last longer. That's why I didn't try EDP. Is she correct
Parfum is too heavy and similar to edt for me , dry down it gets better , edp is the best out the 3

Just like you, I like the most of the opening of armani code edt...so fresh and alluring but the longevity is the main issue here.
Parfum is another story, smell so rich but still has the original dna.
All three of them still worth to buy though 😊
Just picked up the Parfum and I absolutely love it. Glad they went with a refillable bottle option because I will be reaching for it often this winter.

@@swipernoswiper9 Mostly Iris, but tonka bean and woody notes makes it feel more sofisticated. If you've tried JPG Le Male Le Parfum, is pretty much the same but Armani Code Parfum is more elegant
EDT nowadays is very underwhelming to me. I can appreciate where the Parfum is coming from, but that one is overbearing. Throwing my vote firmly behind the EDP: thats the Goldilocks zone for me, from the Code line.
Armani Code Parfum was so good that I prefered buying it rather than Stronger With You Intensely
I love when you do these type of fragrance reviews comparing similar fragrances from the same line and giving us your opinion takes all the confusion out of which one to buy . I think I will definitely try the parfum and maybe even the Armin Code Eau de Parfum. The OG formulation now is crap, so id go straight to the Edp, which I did, I think the Parfum is redundant if i own the edp, then the Flankers Perfumo and Absolu which are going to be discontinued especially the Absolu so get them dont waste your money on the OG it lasts 1 hour then goes home

My armany code edt have the same bottle as parfum I thought I bought the parfum. Also I paid like 140$ for edt. Should I buy parfum instead or keep using edt. Also on the bottle it only displays armany code and says edt on the bottom

For me it smells like bleu noir parfum a bit and also prada lhomme i guess its the iris that makes me feel this way but my nose kinda thought oh bleu noir very similar to armani code parfum

If you had to compare it to Code Absolu?
On my opinion this is 2 different colognes i bought parfum and i like both of them i suppose absolu i will buy too.
I didn't want to buy a EDP because it's some way more stronger and with chemical notes for me.
Absolu is sweet and has powederiness (on my opinion better than stronger with you intensly,just not too strong) and parfum is fresh,light, and smell richness.
if compare to have only one , of course parfum is most universal and everybody will like it.
For me, different use cases. The Absolu (and Profumo) are more for big night out occasions like nightclubs, concerts or other crowd magnet type events.
