How to use our Water Activated Pearlescent Edible Paint Palette

This is our water activated pearlescent palette. It also works with alcohol, but NOT with activators that contain glycerin, you’ll get a slimy goopy mess lol. I sourced this as an alternative for those of us who do not want or cannot use alcohol to activate pearlescent colors. The main reason we just alcohol or an activator is to reduce pitting of royal icing, which tends to happen more with water based paint, since it dissolves royal icing faster. However, with the right formulation and without adding too much water, this alternative palette will really help you achieve those shimmery tones without alcohol. Use a little bit of water at a time and swirl with brush to get the desired consistency. Perfect for royal icing, fondant, gumpaste, chocolate, macarons, bread and more. Vegan and made in a facility free from celery, gluten, soybean, cereals, milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, seeds, sulfites, tree nuts.
