When they’re “on” singing and doing choreography, every single aspect is honed to the nth degree. Down to their facial expressions and their eyes. It’s impressive and a bit scary the level of perfection and professionalism they embody
that practice video was for their SNL performance.
The rehearsal was from SNL I believe.
Their entire body suddenly locks in to performance mode. It’s pretty amazing.
Their synchronicity is unbelievable!!!
They all have amazing duality, but Jimins is on another level.
Thank you! This really does show how much they have practiced, that they just can start in at full power from any point of the song. The clip at 7:12 is fun to watch in its entirety. They won the award show so got to sing the song again at the end. (Tae is bowing to the other competitors as they exit the stage.) Apparently groups usually do a low-key version of the winning song then, but there are compilations full of their antics in these situations. In the full clip, you can see RM whisper to each member to line up to surprise Army, they really are pretty sly about it, you don't catch on until the last minute that they're going to burst forth with that finale. And then we have Jimin with a random leaf on his head. 💜
Thank you for this reaction, John! I love Sugarmy's videos, they're always so entertaining. BTS are the quintessential pros and its so delightful to watch their on/off switches. One of the most charming switches is Hobi walking around in their In the Soop / Bon Voyage episodes and Hobi walking in the "On the Street" video, like, is that the same guy?

I’m glad you mentioned your daughter and how performers change expressions since I do a different kind of dance and assist other groups yet we have to know also when to change our expressions and I had to learn at a young age how to smile with eyes onl as well…still working on it! lol 😂. Thank you for sharing such positivity and I got to enjoy this with you before a very intense dance practices and other practice tomorrow. Hey John! 🙋🏻♀️ So most of the clips from this vid are taken from behind the scenes and backstage moments. They all come from either Bangtan Bombs or Bangtan Episodes, both of which are on their official UA-cam. However, if you want to watch them with subtitles Bangtan Subs (Army run channel) has translated literally all of them to English. I think the one you were specifically asking about was behind the scenes of them getting ready for their SNL MicDrop and Boy With Love performance with Ghost band, and it was a Bangtan Episode. Hope that helps~ 😁
That video you were interested in of the ghost band and them practicing choreo was from one of their "BTS episode" videos on their BANGTANTV YT channel. They're bts of various content. You should check them out, along with their BANGTAN BOMBs, you really get to know the boys and their personalities a lot.

I did the switching when I was in school and when I worked, have chronic pain and was bullied in school so I did the switch more in school too not show my emotions at all, one of my teacher saw me doing it one time when I had to redo a thing later but needed to interact with people right after I was told, she said I was something she had only read about and never seen so she was uncomfortable with that. I did this for many years, don’t do it as much anymore. When I worked it was too not show the pain I’m in all the time.

They definitely can appear as different as night and day. They each have their own, unique stage persona. Pretty much every performer owns this. I remember hearing JK say that he felt he was the same on stage as he was off. Ummmmm nope…sorry JK! You definitely have a stage persona and it’s awesome! FYI…his solo-Golden persona is edgier/more confident/🔥than his BTS persona. Personally, I think that’s what all great performers/actors possess. ✌🏼💜🫶🏼💜🫰🏼💜
