This song is so cute. Some of the older stuff has more of what you might think of as a "boy band" sound or subject matter, but they still sound so much more interesting with the great rapping and the various vocal tones everyone brings. Love it.💜Another great reaction John!
Not just the old school Boy Band sound but this song also has touches of the old Motown vocal sound. Think Temptations meets New Edition meets BTS gives us 24/7=Heaven
RM ‘s singing is so underrated. First realized it in “4 o’clock” with V. Love hearing it! V’s vocal texture is so unique and warm. They are all soo good together!!!
Yes, a throwback to old BTS. Love their old tracks, incredible as always. The reason why JK has the most, here its so much of the adlibs & background vocals. He does the most in most of the songs. In almost every BTS song JK is credited for the background vocals. That hard work too. This is an amazing cool song. Ah! Their discography is insane.
Also, they have lives of this song with all the members. This one was split into a unit. Because they didn't have solo songs back then, they took a break by doing a couple of unit performances of OT7 songs. JK, Jimin, Tae, and Suga did this one and RM, Jin, and Hobi did Converse High. This is one of my all-time favorite BTS songs and if you haven't heard it, Blanket Kick is kind of like a sister to this one. Coffee, Converse High, Just One Day, Ano Bashode...they all sit at the same Boys To Men type table.
Ahh thanks for the explanation about why it was only four of them! Lol I was counting who I heard from and was like, wait, they went right to the bridge, where did Jin and RM and Jhope go, were they all preparing for solos or something? :P so that clears things up.

This is one of my favorite BTS songs. I love old school BTS. This is such a cute song. I thought Jin would have the fewest lines because he usually does (so sad, my bias) but surprisingly it was Jimin.

This is from Dark & Wild - my favorite BTS album (they did better but it still remains my favorite because it remains fresh despite so many listens. It's my safe place in an uncertain universe.) This song is so intrinsically sweet & innocent-young love personified. The members' voices just meld so beautifully & the lyrics are captivating.

Making this comment halfway through but I thought the 2 would be JK and I couldn’t choose between RM or Suga so I thought my bias Suga thoug I do say OT7. I do notice that Jin doesn’t get enough recognition in older songs especially and I was glad to see that Jin sang more than Jimin this time! I think Jin is under appreciated by many reactors so I’m so glad he’s your bias! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🇨🇦🙌

You talked about RM being the most cameleonesque with his voice. Bit I think that the entire rap line can sing and use their voice as the song needs. Yoongi/Suga writes his songs using that even...
Usually it is Jungkook being the main vocal, doing the most advies and background singing. So JK is usually the one heard the most.
Some people only see line distribution in a negative way.
Anyway First, in their early discography BTS songs are heavily hip hop based so u will mostly hear rap line carrying the songs in their early years.
Second, as BTS grow, they show their capabilities in new genres (and I love how diverse their discography), so vocal lines will carry the songs in those new genres.
Third, think about their growth in terms of vocal skills and confidence, apart from JK’s talent as he was casted by 7 agencies beforehand, the other vocalists are barely a singer before being recruited (Jin majoring acting, jimin a contemporare dancer, v is casted when he accompanied his friend auditioned in bighit). But as time tells, their years of hard work show their skills are improving so now they have their chance to show that.
Forth, JK always gets hate because of line distribution but have you ever imagined the time he spent in the studio to find the perfect ad libs and harmonies in mostly every, yes i repeat, every BTS songs?? And also those ad libs and harmonies from other members. That shit is not easy if u don’t have the skills n dedication.
Lastly, We all should appreciate that more, man, because honestly the richness in their songs with ad libs and harmonies is, for me, what sets them apart from other K-pop groups. None of their songs are bland and plain and boring because u will hear they are showcasing their skills in the background. Just because u barely hear the background vocals, does not mean it’s nothing. Once again, that what makes the songs even more richer. This is what I love about them.
Interesting seeing the live without RM or JHope. Also, thank you for introducing me to another of their songs I'd missed!

Dunno if you watch k dramas ( they will change your life ) but a particular popular actress in things such as extraordinary attorney woo and castaway diva .. her name is park eun bin and she decided to learn to sing in her role for castaway diva and had no training before accepting the role … her voice puts most k pop divas to shame . I think if you did line distribution for every song, V would absolutely have the fewest lines in the majority the group songs. Truth Untold, he only sings twice.
I vote for not doing the line distribution videos. Like as a 2Seok bias, they generally hurt to see. :/ It's just going to put a negative, competitive spin on your videos that I don't think adds value or fun. One girl's opinion but line distribution is a touchy subject.

I think the line distribution thing is so misunderstood when it comes to BTS, the guys themselves decide on who sings what it's not dictated to them by the company which is what most kpop groups & their fandoms deal with. Other groups fandoms are use to feeling like a member is being passed over or given too little lines which does happen in a lot of kpop groups from their companies. But BTS decides as a group who sounds the best singing what lines and some of the members were not a confident with their voices in the early years. Solos and cosplayers like to use this excuse to start in-fighting in the fandom to weaken army, they are so use to seeing groups being mistreated by their labels that they can't wrap their minds around idols who have artistic freedom when it comes to their own music.
