    Right now I am a university student in the US and I opened a HYSA to store my watch fund. I want to buy a Grand Seiko by the time I graduate with my bachelor’s but lucky for me I still have about 2 years to save

      I read ( source?) that many Grand Seikos get moved on (?) to the second hand market.
      Obviously, this may not apply to you, & could be used for other watches, if one doesn't mind a previous owner in order to save some cash. I wish you fortuna, cheers.
