Great to see you guys hanging out with some of your fans. All the footage from PRI is a good viewpoint coming from you, especially considering we unfortunately did not make it there this year. Thank you for bringing us along!
Those tables are so sweet. I used to have a set of clamps that had one of the fingers cut off and a plate added so I could weld it to my table allowing me to clamp anywhere i needed. Basically the same idea as the table lol except the table has endless possibilities.
The Quantum Machinery guys are great. They gave Red Beard’s Garage one of those Siegmund fab tables. It is a small go kart mini bike channel but builds his own buggies. He had a Harley Davidson powered buggy at SEMA last year built go Quantum. He loves it. The weld splatter doesn’t stick just as they say.
Kyle, watched Adam's car compete at Lime Rock race track this summer. Had some teething problems but does sound very different. Spoke with him at his pit area, very friendly and got a real good look at the car.
I had some tail housing issues on my 4l80. It had the same style bolt in yoke so I had to turn a counter bore on my Reid hardened chromoly yoke. I also bought the roller bearing tail housing from Reid. Expensive but it’s awesome. Turning that counterbore on a hardened yoke was almost impossible. Went through like 3 inserts on that damn thing
Those fab tables are so amazing. Wish I would have had access to something like that when I actually made stuff. I have used a tumbler for production processes and the results always blew my mind. the finish you could get was always very consistent.
We used a concrete mixer with sand and rock mix for cleaning slag and milscale off parts. It didn't give it some crazy finish but it did what we needed it to. Sure beat using a chisel or grinder to get the slag off from the plasma cutter. Cheap easy solution and didn't have to have guys taking the time to clean parts.
If you get a ride in the 4Rotor Supra, take AdamLZ for a few passes in the Wagon 👌🏻 sounds like a fair trade, he doesn't drag race much just like you don't drift
Just a couple more night shifts and weekends Steve & you’ll be ready to try the welder and chop saw, we promise.. you’ll get your raise when you start welding!
I'm a metal fabricator by trade, Siegmund is absolutely world-class product! It's incredible to work with and they got a solution off the shelf for practically any situation.
You use alot of Manton stuff which is right behind you at the end of the video.... so did they have anything new or cool you may incorporate in the smx or smL platforms or the ford in kyles car???
Speaking as a (former) vendor at a trade show, being overwhelmed by everything ELSE in a show isn't uncommon. Especially if it's a busy show where you don't have a chance to wander too far away from your own booth. Dream build if I hit the right numbers before I die: Send you a V12LS engine from the guys at Racecast in Australia for building/tuning while I have a certain Chip build up a 1960's E-class Jaguar chassis to drop it in. Twist, I want a Lenco 6 speed and a 50:50 AWD transfer case 🤣🤣
Enjoyed the video. Metal 3D printing is only getting better every year. Like the engine builders who didn't want to take on CNC and got left behind, 3D printing for custom engines needs to embraced to keep current. I bet you're already looking into it Steve
The place here in New Zealand is a pretty sweet set up they have built a full spec F1 car completely from the ground up they have their own track, etc it is pretty impressive for our little boring country
To me what is more impressive is that such innovation, thinking has not been completely stiffed by the Authoritarian, Socialist/ISM there in NZ, also Australia along with a few others within EU, Israel !! 🙂 Why would You describe and post that NZ as a "little boring country" ??!! All The Best, Sincerely
lmao i saw myself in the background, didnt even realize you were recording. I only went down Saturday, def missed a TON i should have gone multiple days.
If your going to get a fixture table I’d get a fireball there new line is really good and not that expensive but the tooling is the same if you actually find yourself needing to step up to a hd version of there tables
Years and years ago, when I was still just a partner in my old shop, I gave away more t-shirts than I sold. My partner hated it because we both had money invested in those shirts, but I could always shut him up by saying they are walking billboards! For every $20 t-shirt I gave away, I guarantee I made a $100 and so did he! T-SHIRTS MAKE MONEY! Wear them KYLE!
Should've stopped at the Race Tech booth and gave us your thoughts on the black G Body with the huge blower on a Hemi I would've liked to hear your thoughts on the huge blower though
Jesus, that LS Industries booth was an EMBARASSMENT. They need to get rid of those people and find somekne that can actually talk about, discuss, and explain their products
I bet Adam would totally let you drift some of his cars. That would be a crossover I would never expect to see.
Need to check out fireball tools, his fixture stuff is crazy, and the vice he sells is stupid strong, look good in your shop too😎
Fireball tool would be a great collaboration! He has those tables and fixtures, and you two could geek out together! It would be an awesome colab!
He's also a fellow machinist and fabricator.
I was just about to say the fireball table would be the way to go when I seen this comment
He's a really good friend with Cleetus ,, for sure can make something happen if your serious about it..
That would be kinda sick lol, get Adam hooked up with a motor
@@ExhumedToConsumein his Datsun 😂
Mohawk that tall is probably PVA Polyvynilacetate.... common white glue.
Not sure Steve could drift anything like Adam or Clet. Be funny to watch
@@scottjays360s.johnson2 well of course not right off the bat but I'm sure with some of the best teachers he can ask for he'd it gets it fast
This is the best.. to see a beast like you talk about others doing rad stuff is another level
Great to see you guys hanging out with some of your fans. All the footage from PRI is a good viewpoint coming from you, especially considering we unfortunately did not make it there this year. Thank you for bringing us along!
Great video Steve and Kyle, cheers for the feature!

Another great video. A pretty cool engine made here in NZ is a 2.4L V8 made with Yamaha 1200 heads , it puts out 400hp and is used in midget cars.
We made our own tumbled to clean slag and milscale off using a concrete mixer with sand or real small rock mix. It actually worked pretty damn well
always always always great content. Thank you Steve and Kiel. you all ancd crew the best !!!!!
Great video of the 2023 PRI Show and some of the products being displayed. 👍😎👍

Thanks for taking a few minutes to talk to me at the show on Saturday...You are correct the show is overwhelming.....
Kyle, watched Adam's car compete at Lime Rock race track this summer. Had some teething problems but does sound very different. Spoke with him at his pit area, very friendly and got a real good look at the car.
12:28 OMG that is Sammy from the D'Aydrian Harding videos! I knew I recognized his accent LMAO!
What a show ! Thanks so much for the walk around, very interesting.
Glad you enjoyed it

YES! Would love to see Kyle drifting around the LZ compound!
Wicked seeing the Rodin guys showing off their stuff. Have some amazing gear
@0:55 : A kid I went to HS with had a giant mohawk like that. He used Elmer's Glue. Water soluble and held strong.
the katech's 4 banger and the 5000psi DI lt fuel pump are the coolest things from pri this year imo
Hello Steve, it was nice meeting you and as a business man myself I love your outlook on customer’s.
Thank you.

Cool walk around. Will we get to see video of your team in the go cart race? A little birdie told me you guys got 2nd place. Great job!
Thanks for showing us! It was definitely interesting!
thanks for the walk around that's absolutely awesome. hope to get out there one year
03:37 Not Pagani. A Mercedes V12 doesn't mean Pagani. 😂
I Enjoy your tours and POVs.
PRI is great.
Look up fireball tool welding table he breaks down the build a reasoning to dimensions and stuff! All the way down to dowel pin placements!
Thanks for taking us along.

you might wanna hold back on that hand gesture on the internet Steve
lmao
Cool show. Thanks for saving us the shoe leather!

Time 930 Trans yoke
Some GM trans ( at least the 350 ) had a counter bored slip yoke with an o ring on the output shaft.
Those fabrication tables are the best. Used one making water pipe repair clamps and u can make anything happen.
Really liked the PRI videos, thanks guys!
I use to run some mazak 5 axis, also had a massive 9 axis perpendicular lathe

Cool stuff thanks for letting us see it
im sure you could make your own fixture table, if you really wanted one
Jaguar use a bolt on flange ( not a slip yoke ) to the output shaft of the turbo 400 box they used to use
Awesome, love it when you Kyle are together you make a great team!! And thanks for sharing and bringing us along love the Channel !!!!!
You bet!
the Collab we never knew we needed. Steve Morris x lz
Check out fireball tools for a welding table
Came to the comments to say the same thing. I don't even use or need a welding table but after watching the videos, I want one and a vise! 😂
lmao i saw myself in the background, didnt even realize you were recording. I only went down Saturday, def missed a TON i should have gone multiple days.
Fireball tools makes the best fixture table and accessories
Great video and parts demos
It's cool watching you guys chilling enjoying the show.
Elmers glue is what we used to use for big mohawks
Stoked to see steve work on some rotors
DUDE!!!
I just posted that very thing on Adam LZs channel today! That would be so damn awesome if you two got together!
Mad Mike wedett has just made the first 5 rotor for his latest drift car
I want to walk the floor with Steve. I pretty much have everything I want and it is fun to just check stuff out.
Thanks Steve and kyle
You could probably make that welding table.
Ok for a fixture table you need to look at fireball tool. His stuff is stupid accurate.
Fireball all day! I wish i had one haha 😅
bought his magic square, awesome even without a table
@@Im_Ezdthat makes 2 of us. Lol. His stuff is so nice. Need to hit the lotto just so I can afford to learn fabrication
Check out fireball tool welding table
Fireball tool makes the best tables and accessories.
Steve and Adam would be amazing
PRI… the real show.
Fireball tool makes a way better table and accessories. If you were to ever get one I highly recommend a fireball tool welding table.
Ah man, was hoping to see Steve talking to Adam. Feel like it would be a very awkward conversation 😂
If your going to get a fixture table I’d get a fireball there new line is really good and not that expensive but the tooling is the same if you actually find yourself needing to step up to a hd version of there tables

Thanks for sharing
You can buy way less expensive versions of that table with the holes in it
Aloe vera gel will spike your hair like that. Elmer's Glue/Knox are other options.
Thanks for sharing.
Thumbs up for NZ 😉
Love your videos, man. Yes, you will learn something here . Keep up the great work. ❤
If you want a fixturing table you gotta go with a fireball tool table.
I would recommend fireball tool’s welding table over theirs
I hear that alot
Time 337 The Pagani V12 is Mercedes/ AMG based
Pagani V12? I thought that all the Pagani motors were AMG V12s!!!!
Look at Fireball Tools fixture table
Should get the fireball tool table
If he sees your burnout competition performance I don't think you have a chance, lol.
😁
that part tumbler is the shizz! those things are annoying as heck and somebody did a good job there for sure!
You need a Fireball table. He has a few videos on the construction of it.
Maybe when the time comes for it.
So a BMW with a Mercedes V12? (That's a MB V12, Pegani sources it) 😅
Great content thanks for sharing
Time 540 Weld table The channel Weld Coach
just did a vid on weld tables
Best Welding Fixture Table for Under $1,000?
Thanks guys.
Should've stopped at the Race Tech booth and gave us your thoughts on the black G Body with the huge blower on a Hemi I would've liked to hear your thoughts on the huge blower though
That is the baddest jig table I have ever seen. 🤯
You've never seen Fireball tools table??
I'll gladly buy your 15 year old band saw when you replace it with a brand new one.
Think Garrett might be able to hook you up with Adam...you guys got plenty of connections now i think its an easy in.
Jesus, that LS Industries booth was an EMBARASSMENT. They need to get rid of those people and find somekne that can actually talk about, discuss, and explain their products
Member thought the S&K show. Enjoyed your view at PRI.
Don't know who this Calvin Klien is but he must make great Engines if Kyle is wearing them.
😂
DONT LET HIM DRIVE IT..HAVE YOU SEEN HIM DRIVE..LMFAO!!!
Hey Steve, local news had a video on Buc ee's ginger bread house. At about 1.04 in the video of it , the guy looks like you. Check it out .
