    Been watching professional cleaners about doing this kinda thing at home. He fills a spray bottle with the cleaner, and sprays down the fabric, lets it sit, agitates it with a brush, then flushes out the cleaner and dirt with the actual carpet cleaner vacuum.
    Figured this might help anyone out who always had to wait WAY too long for things to dry because i got them too wet and left soap in the fabric.

      This is why I came to the youtubes. I was worried about using the cleaner on an " appearingly clean couch" only to find afterwards the left over soap attracted far more dirt than ever before. I plan on using the spot spray method and utilizing the green machine for brush agitation, hot water spray to flush, and strong suction afterwards to evacuate. Thanks for your post! It was most helpful.

      @@hudis78 Truthfully, I used the greenmachine with warm water only on our 4 year old couch and chair and it cleaned it nicely. There wasn't any soiled areas but I know it could have used a refresh and it worked great. I also used it on a few spots on our carpet and they lifted them without the cleaning spray.

    Instead of the cleaner in the tank do hot water and in a separate spray bottle do your solution mixed with water and that way you’re sucking up all of the soap out of the fabric!

    Just take the covers of the sofa cushions and put them in the washing machine with an enzyme based detergent and it will come out much better. Same for the dog bed! I think the Bessel green clean machine is useful for things that can’t have their covers removed.

    After watching several different guys show how to use this thing by spraying, brush a little, wait, then fast forward with no explanation about how to use the spray and suck attachment, I looked for another video that would give me more information and... here you were! Within a minute of you starting to use this machine you answered the question I had - that it worked better when you sprayed and sucked up the water at the same time, and it worked better. THANK YOU!!! ❤
    Oh, and if you use Spot Shot (I think the can version works better BYMMV), you can get the stains out. I've used the liquid form (just 1/4 cup) in a full tank on a full-sized carpet shampooer with the water and regular carpet shampoo to help get most of the light stains out while shampooing the full carpet.

    I have the older version of this machine, the Little Green ProHeat it has the option to keep the water you put in it warm/hot. I also have the accessory for it called the ProHeat Turbo Brush which has a spinning brush that's powered by the suction to scrub stuff. I had also purchased the newer version Bissell SpotClean ProHeat, but it didn't work as well as the old version. Bissell also just released a newest version called the Little Green HydroSteam with a steam function which is even better in case anyone is considering purchasing this thing.

      There's a similar one that's actually in the form of a regular vacuum so you don't have to do the whole thing by hand kneeling/sitting and with such a small piece which can get difficult and time consuming. This one works a bit better but it's worth it for the other if she wouldn't like the hassle

    OSHA
    Slips, Trips, and Falls: Preventing Workplace Trip Hazards
    Examples of Slip Hazards
    Basically, anything that decreases the amount of friction between your foot and the walking surface increases the risk of slipping.
    This includes:
    * Water, ice, snow, mud, grease, oil, food, or other wet products on smooth floors
    * Dust, powders, plastic wrapping, granules, or other dry products that are slippery on smooth floors
    * Freshly waxed surfaces
    * Highly polished surfaces that remain slick when dry (like concrete, marble, or ceramic)
    * Loose or irregular surfaces like gravel or unanchored flooring
    * Sloped walking surfaces without slip- or skid-resistance
    * Muddy terrain
    * Wet or dry leaves, pine needles, or plant debris
    * Shoes with inadequate traction
    * Soles that are wet, muddy, or greasy
    As you can see, slip hazards can be found indoors or outdoors.
    Workplace Trip Hazard Examples
    Officially, OSHA's trip hazard height is a quarter inch. Any change in floor level that is ¼ inch or more constitutes a tripping hazard.
    Examples of common tripping hazards include:
    * Uncovered hoses, cables, wires, or cords across walking surfaces
    * Obstacles or clutter on walking surfaces
    * Furniture drawers/door left open
    * Unmarked steps or ramps
    * Damaged or irregular steps
    * Rumpled carpets or mats (or curled edges)
    * Thresholds, gaps, and other irregularities in walking surfaces
    * Speed bumps and curb drops
    Other factors can also contribute to the likelihood that you'll trip, including lack of coordination or an obstructed view of the walking surface. Many circumstances can contribute, including:
    * Fatigue
    * Being under the influence
    * Bulky PPE
    * Poor air quality
    * Poor lighting
    * Bulky loads
    * Poor vision
    Slips, Trips, and Falls Prevention
    Some slip, trip, and fall prevention measures are permanent, including:
    * Adequate lighting
    * Handrails
    * Slip-resistant surfaces in high-risk areas
    * Effective drainage, ventilation, and other methods to keep surfaces dry
    * Marking the edges of steps or elevation changes
    Other methods for preventing slips, trips, and falls require ongoing participation from workers, including:
    * Proper footwear
    * Safe work practices
    * Frequent cleaning
    * Good housekeeping practices that keep walkways free of clutter
    * Noticing and marking slip or trip hazards
    As a result, a lot of slip, trip, and fall prevention relies on the ability of your workforce to recognize slipping and tripping hazards, understand how to mitigate them, and know how to use safe work practices to minimize their risk.
    Even though there's no formal OSHA requirement for Slip, Trip, and Fall training, workers need education and regular refreshers in OSHA trip hazards and regulations to accomplish all of this correctly.
    One of the easiest and most effective ways to keep your workforce fresh on this topic is to use online courses from an OSHA-authorized training provider like us. We have a Walking and Working Surface course that your employees can take at their own convenience and pace. Get started today!

    As a professional carpet and upholstery cleaner for 35 years I don't recommend doing this !! You may brown the material, fray the material, and most importantly you will leave a lot of soapy residue that when dry dust dirt will attach to it and get dirty quickly not to mention that it will become a problem because now it will be difficult to remove all that residue even for a professional!

    1- your house seems to be dust free and that's what gives you the dirty water.

    look for a better solution that is more powerful and professional for your white couch to use with the wet vacuum you have and you will get your results

    Why would you pour the dirty water and rinse the brush in THE KITCHEN SINK??? That’s disgusting! This is where you prepare food and cook and feed your family…You should’ve done it in the bathroom or the laundry room if you have a sink in the laundry room 🤮

    You always knew... even when I (necessarily) didn't. I'll never ever forget that talk we had. 💺And I'll never forget your "tactic" to see the "light in my eyes" again. Your words from that hayride many years ago were always right. You taught me more than you'll ever know.
