T5 Transmission - Camaro or Firebird T5 S10 Tailshaft Swap! Now it fits with a bench seat in a C10!

Swapping out the tailshaft housings to use a Camaro or Firebird T5 Transmssion with a Bench Seat in a classic Car or Truck!
Let’s face it the V8 T5 that came stock behind the V8 Third Gen Camaros and Firebirds are considerably stronger than the preferred S10 T5!
S10 Transmissions fit so much better because of the forward placement of the shifter, what if a guy was to combine the beat of both worlds for the cost of say $30 from the auto wreckers?
Don’t sacrifice a stringer transmission or your bench seat in your C10, K10, GMC or even a classic car!!
I have the answer right here, this was a cheap, fast easy to do upgrade that accomplishes the bar none best budget transmission for your classic!!

I’ve got a 69 C20 with an SM465 and I wondered if anyone knew of a good 5 speed swap I could do that would hold up on a 3/4 ton truck?

Depends on the engine and how it’s going to be used. The T5 is great for daily driving but not so much for hauling or beating up on. You’ll want to source a NV3500 for that.
