Its a lot of components, with the transmission/gears inside/ & clutch but this is why manual is better..& cheaper this man is doing it by himself & hes dropping the trans with 3ft clearance 🏅

Keep bleeding your clutch :) Make sure you have that black plastic thing out of the reservoir and that you actually have fluid in the system lol

@@bluesxthow did you bleed the clutch? I have a vaccum bleeder just don’t really know what I’m doing

@@keyaunfranks2787 I did the 2 person method. Had someone pump the pedal a few times then hold it down, then I crack the bleeder open, close the bleeder, have the person lift their foot off the clutch, repeat.

Do you have another way we can communicate?
Just picked up a slave and kit
Just unsure how to get the release bearing out the trans is all the way out

Did the plastic piece for the slave cylinder fight you or did it go in easily ? Mines fighting me. Any ideas?

For removal it was pretty simple. My clutch kit came with a tool to use for pressing it in, but that tool didn’t really work. It got the plastic piece half way in and then I used 2 screw drivers to get it the rest of the way. I’ve also heard that you can use the tool for an angle grinder to press the plastic piece in

I have the exact same car and replaced my clutch and everything you replaced in the video expect the clutch slave cylinder. Now I can’t get the clutch to have any pressure in it and it’s so soft. Iv tried bleeding it and Bunch and it’s seems like it’s not doing anything. Have any advice?

Did the clutch pedal work before you changed the clutch? If your complaint is that it feels soft, these clutch pedals are pretty soft feeling due to the hydraulics.
If the complaint is that the pedal is soft and it’s unable to shift into gears with the engine running then:
Double check that you are bleeding it with the black plastic thing out of the clutch fluid reservoir. I find these cars pretty simple to bleed the clutch so if you’re bleeding correctly and it’s still not working then you may be looking at a bad master or a bad slave cylinder.

It did it was kinda hard to push in. We turned it on and tried to changed gears and it grinds. We tried gravity bleeding it and nothing was coming out. Also whenever we resolved the rear main seal a lot of coolant spilled out of that area and no after we put everything back together with new parts it still leaks coolant bad. It just sucks to have to take everything apart again to replace the cylinder that’s in the bell housing.

I am going to try bleeding it again with a hose this time and see if that fixes it before I pull everything out. I did make sure to take the black thing out of the reservoir last time we tried it was draining and then the clutch was still feeling no difference.
