Huntsman mini is a good keyboard i feel like this guy just hate razer cause he even said the ducky have better rgb and we all know that's razer is the best for the rgb and performance
its such a good keyboard that it really is perfect right out of the box. performance is the #1 most important thing when thinking of mechanical keyboards, and no switch on the market is better than optical linear switches. period.

I just got the Huntsman Mini in white with linear optical switches. I also have the Ducky One 2 Mini with the MX Brown switches. The Razer has a better build quality and there is no flex at all in the keyboard. I also like how the USB-C connector is protected at the back of the keyboard of the Razer. On the Ducky, the connect sticks out and I think eventually it will fail if you bump the connector a lot from moving the keyboard around.

The problem with Synapse is that you have to have it ON at all times if you change any RGB settings. Synapse causes all sorts of issues for people, for me it caused BSOD:s on Warzone. Also I do not think the speed of these switches causes that big of a difference at all. I own the Huntsman TE and I do not recommend to buy this. My Steelseris Apex 7 TKL beats the TE by a mile.
Just gonna throw it out there, when you're talking about actuation times you're talking about a difference of fractions of a millimeter most of the time. Humans will not be able to tell a difference between 1mm and 2mm when it comes to a keypress. All the conversation about speed is useless
its not just the actuation time that makes a difference, BT has another video that covers why the razer switches are significantly faster. They don't have any debounce time, faster actuation, and a lighter switch.
I noticed you picking up your mouse and moving it back to it's original spot. Try moving your arm more instead of just your wrist and it well help that problem. I'm working it on myself. Thank you very much for this video, subbed.
Hey BT, I've seen a lot of youtubers with tube lights leaning against the wall like you have in the background. I've looked it up but cant find it. What are they called?
Because Razer's switches have a stabilizer in every single switch, that means that *every single switch* has stabilizer rattle, even the 1u keys. Problem is, the switch isn't even Razer's design. They're rebranded LK Libra switches, so the only way for them to redesign it is to use an entirely new switch. They might wanna look at taking a page out of Gateron's book for optical switches.
I've tried three different keycap sets with my Huntsman Mini and none of them work properly. If I set them all the way to the bottom, they get stuck on key presses. I have to 'barely' insert the cap onto the switch stem then it doesn't get stuck but it then feels wobbly because it isn't seated properly. Each one of these sets worked normally with pretty much any keyboard I've ever owned so I don't like this one bit. I also don't like the stabs the Huntsman Mini uses for the spacebar which make it incompatible with aftermarket keycaps. These keyboards can't even be compared at this point because of this alone. You can't be a mechanical keyboard if you can't switch the key caps out.

I have the Apex Pro and recently ppl having been getting the GK61 with Optical Yellow Switches which basically have a much faster response time and bottom out time but only a 1.0mm actuation. Can you please make a video on which is faster it’d be really good for the Fortnite community rn
Faster isn't always better, nor does it translate into something a human can actually perceive when playing an online game like fortnite. The amount of latency coupled with various other variables not controllable by the user the extra speed going to 1mm or 2mm travel from 3 or 4mm travel is going to be completely missed and undetected by a person.
Getting an apex pro TKL with 0.4mm actuation felt incredibly faster than my ducky one 2 mini with 2.0mm actuation and if I change the actuation of my switches on my apex pro to anything higher than 1, like 2 or 3 I can tell (one is lower which is .4 and 10 is like 3 point something)
I mean the only thing that is barely going to be detected is the response time which will end up just contributing to the general speedy feel of the keyboard but not really noticed. On the other hand actuation or a lower amount of grams or force needed to bottom out is very noticeable
@@fnpleo Like i say in my OP it is not something you are going to perceive in actual gameplay. Hey BT, as usual great review with everything we need to know. Razer, recently, make good product (Viper ultimate and mini). It's a good thing because i had very bad memories with their old products. I hope they will be an "AZERTY" model someday for the Huntmans mini. Anyway, i see your really into Keyboard lately. Could you give your opinion about the "Keychron K1 V4". This keyboard looks very interesting with his low profil, MX red silent and his format. I remember the V3 was a bit of disappointment but this V4 looks dope ! And for 69$ it's quite cheap. I would love to hear what you think about it.
You always say the Ducky caps are almost GMK quality. At first I couldn’t believe it until I got my own Mech Mini. They are absolutely close and I gotta agreez
I might get downvoted here but why compare the one 2 mini when the mecha mini is in the same price point as the razer mini? just seems weird when there is a obvious competitor in the mecha mini
Ask my guy for the rgb round u literally used yellow rgb with white while The ducky had rainbow so ofc one is gonna stand out more yellow and white don’t even mix well u can barley see both colors
Hey BT do you know if the Huntsman TE will have the new and improved Razer Linear in it because I was thinking if I should get a new keyboard and was thinking the Huntsman TE would be perfect if it was slightly quieter. Thanks
yeah me to i have a sick custom RGB that includes CM1 and CM2 and the main RGB in the back , even tho it was my first 60% keyboard i learned everything in 3 days , the best thing about the keyboard is the arrow trick , that you put the arrow keys on the bottom right

I checked today and it was. In the white version.

Uhm hello if you see this I have a question when you bought the ducky keyboard did they charge you tax because on the website I can’t find if they do charge tax
Thanks for the comparison bro! I’m boutta buy a mecha mini for my birthday
With Silver Speed switches?
I just bought a mecha mini with cherry MX speeds
Enjoy bro, happy birthday as well c:
@@adam785 Sounds and feels great right?
@@notorioezz I did not get it yet I just ordered it
In my personal opinión the sound of the Red Linear v2 of the razer keyboard is better, happy to see Razer make good products overall
Could you make a video on your key caps? I want it.
do a gpro wireless vs razer viper ultimate, but say what mouse is better for certain games. for example talk about witch mouse is better for games like valorant, csgo , cod, and Apex Legends
i prefer the razer clicky, i just love the sound when gaming. lets me know im hitting that key and i enjoy it
Can the huntsman mini change the bottom right to arrow keys function like the ducky do?
Which one should I get then
I almost forgot about Ducky, it might be time for a 60% One 2 Mini
for gaming, the one 2 mini has way too much input delay for my liking. Hope the One 3 series improves on that.
I believe it is better now
Hey BT, as usual great review with everything we need to know.
Have you checked the Dygma Raise Split? That's going to be my next Mechanical Keyboard
Biggest problem with the ducky for me is the two town design on the case. They need to offer an all black version.
Should I get the razor huntsman mini or a ducky one two mini
What about the Ducky Mecha mini vs. The Razor Huntsman mini
The one 2 and mecha mini are the same my guy one is plastic on is metal but beware the mecha is also lower down
Yeah but there are also a few other differences between the Mecha mini and the one 2 mini👍
why you making a video of something thats not for sell anymore?????????
You always say the Ducky caps are almost GMK quality. At first I couldn’t believe it until I got my own Mech Mini. They are absolutely close and I gotta agreez
Which switches on the ducky would you recommend for Fortnite?
Thanks
Dude got 30 seconds Into this and subbed ! The intro got me hooked. Of course the rest of the video was very good!
What is that wallpaper he is using
Your audio is leaning to much on the lows you should probably wanna balance out the bass and mids.
6:42 I cant be the only one who thought that in a different way
Bruh
As someone that's had a ducky for awhile, once you learn the rgb controls it's super easy.
yeah me to i have a sick custom RGB that includes CM1 and CM2 and the main RGB in the back , even tho it was my first 60% keyboard i learned everything in 3 days , the best thing about the keyboard is the arrow trick , that you put the arrow keys on the bottom right
Thank you so much this video has been very helpful..
