Description: If I could go back and give my younger self one crucial piece of advice, it would be this: Identify and align your life with your core values. In this video, I delve into the importance of understanding your core values and how they serve as a guiding force, leading to a more meaningful and fulfilling life. Core values are the principles that resonate deeply within us, driving our decisions and actions. Whether it's freedom, creativity, honesty, or courage, knowing what truly matters to you can prevent unnecessary struggles and steer your life in a direction that brings lasting happiness.
I'll walk you through the process of identifying your core values, using them to make better life choices, and improving your relationships by finding alignment with those around you. You'll also learn why certain decisions may have led to misery and how you can avoid repeating those mistakes by staying true to your core values.
If you're ready to take control of your life and make choices that align with your true self, this video is a must-watch. Plus, I've included a link to a core value confirmation process that will help you on your journey to self-discovery.

I’m glad to hear this, at 39 I often hear from my peers that i am too old to do this or that. But when I speak with ppl who are older and wiser they tell me that I am at the right age to still do anything I put my mind to. At 37 I made the choice to go back to school and get my degree, so now at 39 I am closer than where I started and I am making high marks from all the effort and hard I have put in.
Just think, if I would have listened to everyone who were trying to have me assimilate to their thought patterns, listen to them being scared to take chances and be safe, and listened to their insecurities versus ppl who are older who actually gave me wisdom telling me to go for what I want now, I’m not too old-where I have been now? Lost for sure. Thank you for this message ABM. This gives me the fuel to keep going and keep striving for my purpose in life

39 is NOT too old. I will says this though, your energy tank shrinks as you get older. Don't expect to have the same fire at 49 you have at 39 and so on, and so on. At 55, I never thought I'd say it, but I'm tired for the first time in my life.

@@mondavou9408 Yes I see that’s why I keep going and going because I know the future is inevitable, so that’s why I work hard as I can now even to the point of exhaustion because I know it’s going to be worthwhile later on in life. Thank you!

Yep. That kind of internal conflict will tear you apart. That said, there are couple of the core values I had at 16 which are just silly now at 56. ...but yes keep your rudder, and sometimes you have to make the less profitable, less obvious move, to keep your boat from capsizing.

For most men our core values will orbit around that which brings freedoms. Whereas women are more interested in fulfillment than personal agency.
My core values have likely been consistent through my life but my approach to understanding and working with them has varied wildly. I’m convinced that if we lived a life three times the current length, most people would not squander it, but would grow to be far more complete beings than we currently achieve. Time is not the only element of maturity but it seems essential.

I agree. My 50's have been very revealing because I have less testosterone, more experience and a curious mind filled with good books. I think this all accumulates over time..and the opposite if you don't challenge yourself, do some inner work and pay attention to your gut feelings about the world.
