Can confirm how good adding micro-needling to minoxidil can be. I was using minoxidil and finasteride for like 8-9 months before adding micro-needling. Results were good but after i started needling 1.5mm once a week it doubled my regrowth results. Im still improving month by month after another massive shed that depleted my hairline at first. Cant wait to see my results 1 year from now. And i just use 1ml of minoxidil once a day 6 times a week not on needling days.

I just started dermarolling about three weeks ago. I use a 0.5 dermaroller M, W, F and 1.0 on Saturday. I am a Norwood 3 or 4. I have been using 5% Minoxidil once a day for years and started a year ago to use it twice a day. I wished I used it twice a day years ago. I am a trans MtoF person and started hormonal therapy about a year ago. I have experienced some thickening, though my frontal hair loss rejuvenation is not very extensive. I am hoping with more time I will start to see better results. In the video, the time between and after pictures is about two months. I expect more time will give better results.
I have read conflicting evidence of when to use Minoxidil after dermarolling. Some people say use it immediately, others says wait a bit. I apply Minoxidil an hour or two after demarolling. Any advice about this would be appreciated.

Hi! First of all, 3 months is not always for everyone sufficient. Some people need up to 6months to regrow some hair. Yet, it is possible that you are not a good responder to Minoxidil. You can try the Minoxidil with Tretinoin solution, which has shown to improve the effectiveness of Minoxidil. But also, overall, I can't asses your case so easily. One has to always stay realistic with what one can possibly regrow. I would that, if you had some regrowth, that's already a win.
