This guy (Scott Leach) is a great teacher! I have a much better understanding of the private pilot book from the FAA now. Reminds me of my automotive technician professor. I didn't appreciate the great tutelage at the time. Thank you for offering these videos. I have thoroughly enjoyed learning from them!
The 4 forces of flight got me haha! Love the way you instruct. Very fun and intriguing. Keeps me very motivated and alert. Thank you sir. Keep up the good instruction work.
Great instructor and presence in the classroom. Kind of messed up Newton a few times but other than that, he really knows his stuff. I wish the class was getting more the jokes and fun he's trying to have. Good stuff, thanks for putting out here.
These videos are extremely engaging. I can't get the idea out of my head that this ground school is being taught by coach McGuirk from home movies. I love the humor being tossed around at any given moment.
Overall very good instructor! keeps my attention and making me chuckle at different points. I am watching these videos as a free ground school so I can maybe get my ppl someday.
I cannot even tell you how much better this presentation is over MIT's private pilot course. This presentation here is very professional and straight foreward, very well done.
"In Russia, we start with this formula." No no, you were taking a physics course. Lmao we'll get there. Thank you for sharing (: this is extremely useful.
Are you saying if you had the plane in good trim tracking well. Then you encountered a 14 mph crosswind it will not upset your trimmed plane. I will say it does for sure.
Rc combat winners and scratch builder there’s a cord center line! That’s how there built on a flat board!,! If you can imagine a 16 oz. 1/2! Half ci. That’s cubic inch! At 134 mph! Flying 2 aileron spinning rolls at the same place in the sky ,at the same heightAGL! REMEMBER GUYS THIS ABOUT SAVING SOALS. ONBOARD Go fly a 172 at .8.1 Mach
Actually the bernulli effect doesn't cause a force. All the lifting force is caused by accellerating air downward. The bernulli effect and the pressure differential don't cause lift, but rather is lift, caused by acceleration of air. There's no such thing as bernulli lift.
Let me comment a bit. 12:20 Everything is wrong about lift justification. look at the video - I am to lazy to write it here : ua-cam.com/video/QKCK4lJLQHU/v-deo.html

I will say it does for sure.
The guy is amazing.
So a question, is this something for people who are very beginners to aviation?
Yes. Even maintenance learns about these things. Ground school is important for everything aviation related.
Is the camera man asleep, otherwise great lecture
PFM...that's what makes things fly.
