It's not hard to get more ports on different builds.. But amd doesn't have much OEM's support and it's server grade mobo. That's why it doesn't have much port. Their TR workstation grade mobo does have..

Gotta love it when a company manufactures a GPU for a price tag of 5.5K and gives you the finger, when it comes to even remotely useful documentation. This sort of shows the attitude Nvidia has to its high paying customers. I guess they expect this GPU to land in pre-built workstations from other OEMs or aftermarket sellers, who have Nivida integration engineers on speed dial.
Probably if you call them with your 11k GPU rig they can give you someone to talk to.

Overspec'ing PSUs is also a good idea because ideal PSU efficiency is at about 50-65% power draw. So if your rig is averaging about 500 watts of power draw, then a 1k PSU will give you maximum efficiency.

I am sure a lot of programs will just ignore the 2 quadros so a Titan as an "output" gpu will not hurt you. Especially if you pay this much overall.

Genoa (zen4 based) has already been released, but the ecc ram is still $30/gig, and that price is holding steady, vs $2/gig for ecc ddr4.
I just bought that main board with dual 10Gb on board, with an epyc 7313P (16 core, 3.0-3.7ghz) off of newegg as a combo for under $600. with 256GB of ecc ddr4 3200 for about $500.
I have all 8 channels populated. I also got 2 m.2 octane drives, and plan to use most of the io connectivity.
I will be practicing with VMs, docker, and kubernetes. I have over a dozen years of professional Linux system administration experience.
Finally a computer that can handle having a couple tabs of chrome open.

@@stevemccarr They could have gotten a 64 core EPYC CPU but I'm not sure how that one would perform in single core workloads compared to the 32 core model. Probably a lot worse. Without the needless spending just to achieve the same price it would be over $4000 cheaper just by using a GTX1650 and a cheaper case. That InWin case is beautiful but it's not like a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X looks like cheap trash either.

I have some suggestions for higher performance
1.using threadripper pro 3995wx it can also support 2tb ram and it has 64 cores and 128 threads
2.using asus motherboard for threadrippper pro 3995x because it has 7 pcie slots
3.i heard that there is a piece of tech that can connect multiple gpus just like nvlink but the problem with NVlink is it can connect only 2 gpus
4.using 6 rtx quadro 8000
5.liquid cooling cpu and gpus
6.using the pice of tech from 1 cpu 6 editors that uses only 1 pcie slot and turns it into 8 pcie slots and fill up the extra pcie slots with nvme pcis expansion cards with 4 16 tb nvmes for mass storage
That's alot more then what the mac costs plus this video is old.

Content idea: make a “this will make you happy” gaming set up with all the pc specs, mouse, keyboard, headset, that is not over the top but will make a average gamer happy enough to have that set up. Capturing the essence of true gaming.

Compared to a Mac Pro? Actually, yeah... Go check it out for yourself. The Mac Pro they are competing against specced to be as competitive as possible is WAY over $32,000.00. That makes the PC used to slaughter it a 'deal' which is just plain sad, and renders it 'practical' in so far as overall cost is concerned. Hell you could use the extra 10,000 you'd save to hire a computer provision company to assemble, maintain, and warrantee the entire assembly configured to even meet Apple in terms of their all in one warrantee, and to boot, because Apple is so fucking shitty at actually providing affordable replacements, and covering their own parts, and being speedy at upgrades, or allowing users to make custom upgrades and modifications (There's so many videos on this I don't need to even try to justify it), it literally will always be a better service and troubleshooting experience for that 10,000 custom maintenance plan with any decent computer assembly company (And they almost certainly wouldn't charge that much, even for enterprise solutions).
It's impractical in the consumer space, but ironically, in the enterprise and business space, this computer, in spite of Linus saying otherwise, almost does exceed the Mac in overall practicality. The difference is you need to contact a company to assemble it and make it clear what you want, where-as with the Mac you get better boot times, IO, and it's a few button clicks away on their website. When we're starting to talk about this level of hardware, it's a little sad that you're paying such a premium for the difference in a few button clicks and ONE 20 minutes long phone call with a customer service agent or computer hardware assembler.
By virtue of the stupidity of Apple's pricing scheme, this computer automatically reaches the threshhold of 'practical,' at least relatively speaking. For anyone just wanting a gaming computer though, yeah of course it's stupid, the entire server, professional, and enterprise space is stupid compared to consumer uses, but this video isn't about a consumer product.
For people who's computers are for doing work, time saved *is* practicality. Cost doesn't matter because you make it back

Epic cpus are bad for gaming, because of low single core performance. U should try it with a 10900k or something similar.
Most games will prioritize single core performance, which the Epyc is relatively bad at as it is designed to be a server board and work with all its threads. Better idea to do this on a threadripper or something
