sequencing can be so hard. I found some interesting pairings with a book I did of my deceased father's images especially bundling by themes/subjects. But working on a personal project right now and the sequencing seems daunting. guess it is something that just takes time and a lot of contemplation
Hello Jeremy! This video is amazing and a real standing point for me. Im an amateur and planing to publish my first book of street photogrphy. Definitely I will use ur advices and when I have it done, I will approach you as consulting the living, if u dont mind.
Glad it was helpful! And absolutely hit me up when you have something ready to share. We can use one of the software tools mentioned in one of my other video. Good luck!
Why have I not been subscribed to this guy for at least a year? 🤔 Shame on me. Jeremy, brilliant work and brilliant thoughts on sequencing. I find that editing and sequencing your own work is the most difficult part of the photographic process. At least for me.
Thank you for providing us with this information. The explanation is simple to understand and is both objective and straightforward. The soundtrack, which is quite loud and quite unpleasant, is the one drawback to this video. I would advise getting rid of or turning down the music and replacing it with something calming that will assist viewers focus on the video's content. Thank you once again.
@@jeremybassetti I echo this, the video is well-designed, interesting and informative but I found the soundtrack so off-putting I ended up just reading the subtitles.
Thanks for your comment. Not everyone needs to make a zine or book. No shame in that. In fact, the really good images are ones that don’t need other images next to them to shine. The really good images can tell narratives all by themselves.
Very helpfulas I struggle with sequencing my next photo book!
Lovely video with very solid points that I'm definitely going to use with my next photobooks!
Thanks, Mitchel! Let me know how your next project turns out.

Thanks for the insight, I believe it'll help with my previously aimless photobook.
Glad it was helpful! Keep us posted with what comes of it. 🤞

Thanks! And yes, you’re right. That and “making sense of one’s work,” I reckon.
Thanks Jeremy, great informative content. I saved the video as my guide in creating my zines.
Thanks for watching. I hope it helps you!
This is very good Jeremy!
Thank you, Jorge, for your comment and - more importantly - for your help and encouragement!

Amazing content, congrats! 👏👏
Thank you!
Great job Professor! Do you plan to visit Spain again? Would love to see that! Thanks for sharing
Thanks, Deanna! No Spain until 2024. But today I'm leaving for... Italy. 🇮🇹
great, all this mentioned is what still keeps me from creating a zine or book.

@@jeremybassetti sure thing, yet for developing as a photographer, I think at is at one point useful if not essential to do so :)
What's the name of the software you mention in the video for sequencing the photos?
Figma
FYI: If you use a Mac, they now come loaded with a new program called "Freeform" that would do the same thing as Figma. Check it out.
great tips (y), how can I contact you?
Thanks. Email address on my channel page.
The music is very annoying and distracts from the excellent content
