In 2023, the FDA approved an RSV vaccine for ADULTS OVER 60 and a preventive RSV shot for INFANTS and at-risk toddlers. The RSV vaccine is also approved for pregnant mothers in order to prevent RSV in their newborns.

    1. RSV or Respiratory Syncytial Virus, is a common respiratory virus that can cause mild cold-like symptoms, but it can also lead to serious complications like respiratory failure or even death.
    2. RSV is the number one cause of bronchiolitis and pneumonia in children less than one year of age. In fact, 80,000 children under the age of five in the United States are hospitalized due to RSV each year.
    3. Symptoms may include fever, cough, wheezing, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, or even cyanosis or turning a bluish-like color or your lips turning a bluish-like hue due to respiratory distress.
    4. Who is at risk? Newborns, infants, the elderly, the immunocompromised.
    5. There is now an FDA-approved RSV vaccine recommended for newborns and infants and for people over the age of 60.

Hi Dr. Frita. I'm 75, immuno compromised, many health issues. Had planned to get the RSV vaccine, along with my COVID and flu vaccines, but because I have no spleen and the vaccine includes live virus, my cardiologist said not to get it. Same thing happened when the Shingles vaccine first came out. I later was able to get the Shingles shot when they revamped it. Hopefully, they'll do the same thing with the RSV vaccine.

Stay away from.vaccinre. Adverse events plentiful. Maybe you stay far away from doctors , too .All they do is promote the garbage from the pharmacy that cures nothing. They just cover up symptoms and are side effects -laden ..Try something natural, instead.. Good luck .❤

And what is the cost of this vaccine-what does big pharma think is appropriate? My primary doc (I’m 76 with asthma-can’t afford the $300 per month asthma thanks to big pharma-she didn’t recommend this over priced vaccine!
