Originally a Jacques Brel song as we all know. But he really inspired Scott big time.

The 3 songs that Walker recorded first and Bowie redid are:
    Nite Flites
My Death (you already reacted to the Bowie version)
    The Port Of Amsterdam
There might be another one I'm forgetting.
While Nite Flights is a Scott Walker original, My Death & The Port Of Amsterdam were originally by the French songwriter Jacques Brel, but Scott popularized these songs in the English language, as well as few others by Brel including Jackie.
Bowie has spoken about how Scott inspired in a few interviews and he also appears in the documentary on Scott titled "30th Century Man" to talk about his love for his music which I believe is on UA-cam.
There was a very special incident ,I believe in 95, when Bowie was doing a radio interview and Scott called in to wish his fan a happy birthday, which is also on UA-cam.

David Bowie covered Walker’s Night Flights.
Marc Almond covered Jacky, you should give it a try.

I'd recommend "Mathilde" & "The Old Man's Back Again" as other good starter songs from Scott, & also "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore" by his group The Walker Brothers. The one's that Bowie did as well are also great if you want to do comparisons of both versions.

There are so many amazing Scott recordings, but I think my favourite is The Amourous Humphrey Plugg.

Also the version of "Jacky" by Marc Almond is quite interesting.
The song "The Seventh Seal" by Scott Walker is good. Later his music became very much more experimental, and two baffling albums are Tilt (1995) and The Drift (2006). The are very difficult to describe, lyrically very dense and have unnerving sounds.
    Scott Walker died in 2019.

I know you reacted to Johnny Cash singing "A Boy Named Sue".
"One Piece At A Time" (also by Johnny Cash) is a song suggestion I put forward for your consideration ... it's a very humorous song"
    Thank you.

You should react to All Of The Lights by Kanye West
