    Hello Robert. So I have been going through your French polishing course which is great by the way. So if I hear him right we should wait 4 to 6 weeks before rubbing out that finish.

      That depends on how it was applied, how thick it is and what you want it to look like. I don't rub out a shellac finish like a lacquer.

    Hi I got a yamaha fgx5 with à thin polyuretane semigloss finish do you think I could micro mesh it to make it gloss or more gloss ? Like use the 5000 or higher?

      If the finish has flattening agents in it to make it satin, then no. If it is a high gloss that was rubbed out to a satin finish then it is possible to make it gloss again.
