    Wet hand sanding to 5000 is the way to go. The less time spent on a buffing wheel the better.

    Thank you. That explains a lot. You mentioned some WB lacquer was thermo setting. Would that be the Target em6000?

      Yes. A good way to remeber this is if you can spot repair it (shellac and lacquer) then is is thermo plastic. If you can't then it is thermo setting.
