I have had the Bauer High Impact for 6 months. I got one open box for $100 it does everything I've used it for without any problems. Great tool on a budget!
I will never buy a Milwaukee product again. Had to 1/2 torque back to back stop working. Went with hercules. You just cant beat them, the warranty is awesome! Just go to harbour freight and get a new one. Fantastic job!!
Great review, I just want to point out that harbor freight I believe recommends that you use the extreme performance batteries for their impact wrenches to get the most power and run time out of the tools. Those batteries have the 21700 cells in them. They cost a bit more though. But most likely worth it for people who use them all day.
I have the 3/8. I was very underwhelmed by its strength, even with a bigger battery. I switched to the Skil line, but kept the Hercules charger and battery specifically for the Ultra Torque in the near future.
Guys, why are you expecting a 3/8 impact to make big power numbers?..... That is literally what the 1/2 is made for. The 3/8 is perfect for what it's designed to do. You don't always want max torque for every application which is why the 3/8 exists. You need more power then use the 1/2 exactly what it's designed for
@Mr.Thermistor7228 I'm not. My Skil ⅜" (that I replaced the Hercules with) is a smaller unit that blows the Herc out of the water, and even that is no match for the Dewalts. The Hercules ⅜" was a letdown.
Not to be that guy but that Milwaukee is 11 year old and far from the best to be honest I don't think it's all that good!! And to be real with you bro with the battery issue you claim with the 2767-20 give the Hercules some time and I'm sure you will have the same or worse. I have a couple high torques but 99% of my work is with the mid torques and compacts it's very rare you need a high torque unless you're working on diesel rigs or bigger trucks. How often are you grabbing those huge high torques? Be real brother!!???
Milwaukee is 10%-20% better depending on the tool but Hercules gives you more for your money, Hercules batteries are 1/2 the cost. However, Dewalt is beating everyone in the high torque category with the DCF961.
i work on super dutys everyday a mid torque wont work for my job i use high torques 99 percent of the time and dont have to give it time u can go get a brand new 2767 and it will have insane play i have a video on it maybe over time the hercules will too but the milwaukee will get it a lot sooner go over to koon trucking he had same issue to the point where he got rid of his m18 and got a mac i believe but you are right this m18 is older thats y im going to do a video against the gen 3 :)
I do automotive and use my Hercules High Torque quite often. Especially suspension work May be overkill for certain other things. But the point is, it gets the job done
Hello guys, I'm personally test Kobalt because I was working in a chevy 3500 to remove the transmission, and Kobalt trust me is not a powerful tool, very low torque tool,I don't know nothing about Bauer never tested but I see today in Harbor freight store and you can see it well strong, about the 3/4 one@@toolsonabudget7763
I've had the Bauer and it's an absolute beast. Anything on my cars and trailers it's been able to do in under a second. I think it's more for people with trucks/semis or rusty climates. The only bad things are that's it's too powerful for fastening most things and it's huge so I can't do tighter jobs like brakes with it. Still within 90 days so I'm gonna return it and switch to the Hercules 1/2 in compact with free 5 Amp battery.

Its awsome especially considering the price

Scored the extended anvil + 8AH battery for $81 !
The new 3/4 Hercules is more strong than all Milwaukee 3/4 and 1 inch, this is so powerful,we just test today and Hercules win, amazing impact gun,
Its a monster
Yes it is have one and it BEAT my MILWAUKEE M18 fuel GEN 3 2967 on my UA-cam channel
@@THEBEARDEDTOOLGUYwhich one beat the Milwaukee the 1/2 inch hecules impact?

@@mols89I agree, I was pretty disappointed. I hope Hercules comes out with a true mid torque hitting around 800ft lbs that would complete it for me .

Is 3/4 hecules share same motor as 1/2 hecules? Because it look identical tho.
Looks like it does but must be programmed to a higher rpm since the anvil is thicker and can handle more torque
@@toolsonabudget7763 maybe different gear for 3/4 too? 🤔
different motors and different gears in the 3/4
Is that true? How do you know? I have 1/2 hecules ultra torque tho.. they look identical tho
@@kaylawilliams9699 yes its true open them up and look inside ,look at the part numbers

You can't assume nobody regularly uses the 3/4" just because you don't. You know what they say about assumptions.

@@emmcee476 very true
I have the 3/4" impact and an extreme 12ah to go with it. It is almost 10 pounds with the battery on it.
still gotta get charger.

What's the best corded impact?
From what i hear the Bauer and Kobalt are pretty decent for corded ones
