  • I nicknamed this spot "The Mythical Fairytale Land of Sheds". I could not believe how many antlers I found in such a small area of Alaskan tundra. Very cool experience! Thank you to everyone who watches and supports the videos. It means a lot!

Hey! This is awesome!!!! I know it’s a long shot but my fiancé and I want to take a once in a lifetime trip to shed hunt in Alaska for caribou!!! We’d be going in July though, any tips?????

Thanks for watching! I’d say look at caribou migration routes and key in on those areas. There’s so many caribou sheds laying everywhere. No one really seems to look for them at all. If you want to, message me on Instagram or Facebook (Hardway Outdoors) I can point you into the right direction!

    Appreciate the AK videos
How does caribou shed hunting compare to whitetail shed hunting? Appears a lot more of them!

Thanks for watching! It’s a lot different than whitetail shed hunting. Doesn’t seem like there is a rhyme or reason where caribou drop their antlers. There seems to be a lot of them. And no one shed hunts here. Very different than whitetail shed hunting!

Luke Garrett yea I don’t think she’d hunting is a very popular sport in Alaska. It is huge back home in Pennsylvania and through the lower 48 but not up here. Thanks for watching!

Hardway Outdoors yeah I’m from Utah and generally if you hunt you shed hunt too, it kinda sucks but if it wasn’t popular I probably wouldn’t be doing it
