@@xOneBadMuthaxTo make that putt on the 72nd hole with all the foot , ball and spikes marks on his line is everything he was in that 1 monster breaking putt . Torrey Pines and Tiger woods go back to the Jr. Amateur which he won all 3 before winning the US Amateur, 6 in a row.
That's like saying you went head to head with Hendrix and you almost won. (that means you won)

I worked with Alex Prugh after he retired from golf. He told me about this day and how Rocco went off and stole the lead. Crazy it popped randomly on my feed.

I was at the 1992 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach and watching some players on the putting green. Then I turned to my buddy and say since when do they allow caddies to play on the putting green? He says that’s no caddy, it’s Rocco Mediate. The guy looked so normal he looked out of place! 😁
How incredible would the commentary have been if he dunked the drive? Commentator called “how about a one?” pretty early after it was hit.
And the guy who hit it said “go in” right after that. His name is Alex Prugh.
Whoever is controlling his ball's remote control is incredible.

I missed those good old days of golf. The hype was real and the games were electrifying especially when Tiger was in the hunt. While there are many good players these days but just felt a bit boring watching the game on tv now. Well it’s just my opinion 🤙🤙🤙

Idt its backspin with a wood...its like my home golf course and has the softest greens..and he swings way down on ball thats already uphill of green....u won't get backspin with a wood...mainly soft greens

These are the skills I truly respect; if you’re not able to hit similar shots as a “pro” then why even play. Many are mediocre after many years with the possibility to become pretty great. Test your intuition’s boundaries when it comes to hitting the ball.
Not the same shot actually. Different distance, different club. Very misleading.

So my question is which is better. The incredible drive for the eagle or the hole out. Just saying I think the drive, you need a decent drive to get in position for the hole out but need a so so out for the eagle after the druve
