I like both options but the saddle definitely gives you a much easier shooting range of 360deg around the tree. The only thing about the climber part of the video is recommended is that your tether should be attached to the tree before you start climbing. In my experience if a climber fails/falls it will happen climbing up or down...never while at hunting height if your gear is in decent shape
If you like the security feeling of a climber and the vast tree use of a saddle. Look at the JX3 Hybrid. I own one and love it. My only complaint is I tend to get too comfortable and fall asleep.
I always put my platform 90° to the left of my top step and I use my lineman’s belt as a gear hold by wrapping it around the tree and using the carabiner to hold my pack
Great video! I’m actually buying my saddle gear this weekend so this was Really helpful to solidify my purchase
Both are great! I like how light the saddle is. I like how no matter the size of the tree I can get in it! Thanks for watching 👍

I did that last year one time. Absolutely a game changer because of not having to buy another strap

Is your bridge worn in the middle like that? I’m hoping it’s a modification of some type
@@JoshuaPulanco yes! But when I asked tethrd about this issue they said it is fine. The fraying can be pushed back into the bridge
Climber all day every day.....WAAAAAY more comfortable.....
It’s soooo comfortable. I enjoy both!
I have both and I’m just as comfortable in my saddle as I am in my climber.
I’m comfortable in both! I love having both options
