4:57:04 I have been okay with most of the mixing, even though the background often competes with the dialogue, but I’m seriously struggling with the gratuitous banging of pots and pans in this chapter. For one thing, Samwise would not have had his pack arranged to make so much noise, and for the other, is simply an annoying sound by itself as it has no actual place. Having a misplaced and unnecessary sound drowning out the dialogue is far worse than if it were a background sound relevant to the plot.
