- The all-new Mustang GTD made a grand debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, showcasing a new Performance pack designed to complete a lap of the Nürburgring in under 7 minutes. This pack includes magnesium wheels, active aerodynamics, and a new front fascia with dive planes. The Mustang GTD’s driver-focused interior features 3D-printed titanium paddle shifters, Recaro seats, and a thick-rimmed flat-bottom steering wheel with additional driver controls. The digital gauge cluster theme and unique graphics in the reconfigurable center display, powered by Sync 4, enhance the driving experience, making the Mustang GTD a high-performance, premium sports car.
The Mustang GTD’s Performance package is key to its agility and speed. It includes dive planes, a larger splitter, underbody flaps, and a drag reduction system on the rear wing, all contributing to reduced drag and improved aerodynamic grip. The Lightweight package, part of the Performance pack, removes sound-deadening material and adds 20-inch magnesium wheels. The Mustang GTD’s carbon-fiber elements and eye-catching Chroma Flame paint further highlight its sophisticated construction and design. This combination of features makes the Mustang GTD excel in every aspect, from cornering and grip to braking and acceleration, as it aims for a sub-seven-minute lap at the Nürburgring.
Inside, the Mustang GTD’s driver-focused features continue to impress. The Recaro seats and a new steering wheel with premium Dinamica inserts, leather wrap, and carbon-fiber elements ensure comfort and control. Exclusive buttons for adjusting suspension firmness and exhaust mode allow drivers to maintain focus while customizing their driving experience. The GTD interior, unveiled at Le Mans, includes a hero panel with new buttons for accessing Track Apps and activating a front-axle lift function. The standard eight-speed dual-clutch transaxle, paired with 3D-printed titanium paddle shifters, enhances control over the supercharged 5.2-liter V8’s 800-plus-horsepower, embodying the Mustang GTD's motorsport-driven performance and sophistication.

Mustangs are back on top
They have been on top for years, #1 sailing sports car in the world and that's what Ford Motors want. Camaro, Corvette, Challenger and Charger can't say that.
@@alvinbanks lol you are mad at Facts. Hellcat has been #1 for years
Looks stunning, I love it
Mustang❤
looks spectacular
Looks amazing
Imagine having this on a big screen. Movie night goals!
Nice!
На этой машине , я , безумный Макс!
gotta admit, didn't think much of this car when i saw it (in person no less) at NYAS as the grey color with light gold wheels didn't really do much for it's looks (although recognizing this weekend's LeMans GT3 intents i did take lots of photographs) but now painted in ruby red with carbon stripes and bright silver wheels and it's STUNNING. quick somebody let me hold $350K (the extra $25 is to have a head start on the first year of fuel).😎
Would love to drive it
Jaded Mustang Enthusiast: "Ford will never build a totally cutting-edge Mustang."
Ford: "Uh......here ya go."
Love everything about this car except the disgusting dashboard monitor for a display.
Tbh i would swap out the new interior for the 2019 ngl
@@tiersofemotion222 I like the rest, seats are decent, nice for a domestic, some tactile switches where they should be, the steering wheel is okay, and for Ford, it's fairly nice, but the ugly, cheap, massive LCD screens replacing dials and haptic touch button fads have got to stop. The new Vantage IMO is the benchmark for interiors in cars over $150k.
Reading your statement. It's obvious you're not familiar with how those digital gauges differ from a Mustang GT or Dark Horse and what information they provide to the driver. The Mustang GT3 and Dark Horse R use a similar digital dash. They're more accurate and more informative than analog gauges plus much easier to see how the components of the Mustang GTD are functioning. Your taking this amazing wide body mustang with 800+ Horsepower with an 8 speed DCT transaxle. World class suspension and active aero, Hugh brakes plus many carbon fiber components through out the interior that's equipped with Recaro racing seats plus to many other items to list, yet you're complaining about the digital display screens. It's obvious that you don't have a clue because you really know nothing about this est 3000 lb 800+ Horsepower V8 Mustang GTD Super Car. A car like it's big brother the Ford GT Supercar that sold new for around $600,000 that's selling at auctions for over 1 million dollars. An unbelievable reason to complain about this bad ass world class Mustang. I'm curious. Have you ever set in an actual new S650 Mustang GT or Dark Horse and seen how these screens functioned? I'm guessing no.
@DWH300 we perfer the styling of the previous generation interior like the 2021 gt500 as an example. We're not making it a big deal out of it it's just our preference because a lot of manufacturers copy this trend for these big screens that take away the design of the cabin.
@@tiersofemotion222 Yep, I was expecting more of a GT like interior, the steering wheel and those horrid LCD screens makes it look more like a truck than a Mustang, some of the dials from the GT350 or 500 and the GT steering wheel would have been better, and I kind of use thee new Vantage as the benchmark for interior over $150k, but this one’s all about the lap times. We'll see if it’s worth the sticker price at Lemans.
WOWWW
Not sure about the Forza Motorsport styling - it’s a bit like it was designed by a teenager. Sounds good though.
With "Optional Performance Pack". Oh....so it needs a pack
I’m a huge Ford fan and like the new GTD Mustang, but the price they’re asking for this thing ($325,000) and using the regular Mustang interior is a joke. I understand this is basically a race car for the streets and the focus is on the performance, suspension and handling, I still feel it deserves a better interior. Especially if you’re aiming for Porsche GT3 customers.
A parte do painel ficou horrível com esse Tablet gigante, também não gostei do volante.
Is this car street legal?
It's got to be
Yes
The Mustang GTD is the street version of the IMSA Racing Mustang GT3.
Those wheels are sick but I think they could've went for a lil more aggressive look on the front end facial
LOL!
@@alvinbanks it's aggressive looking but it could be a lil more aggressive, u disagree?
And...no stick option 🤨
Я бы купил если дали бы денег😂😂
Interior looks as cheap as the Eco Boost for 300-500k i expected a lot more
Push-road?😮😮
Where is the fun pedal? I want a driver car. Other than that, cool car.
Oh BOY, I'm going to need the crowd to move off the street. You know the deal.
?
Such a great Car !! But that Interior is just 🤢🤮
👎👎👎
Sorry to say but this look is out dated not eye candy at all...they need to work on a better design
Is that why they all sold out immediatly?
All that money and it still has the fake carbon fiber on the doors and dash 👎🏽
That is real carbon dude, why are you complaining, you'll never afford to own one.🤣
looks so cheap
Subjective.
The goods on this car are all legit.
wing is god awful
No it isn't
Advanced active aero is what it is. It's not there for looks.
