  • I have to be honest, I was not expecting this much hook out of this ball. It's not often that I have to move that far left on a relatively fresh house shot!

Hmmm I'm liking this one. Don't have any hybrids in my arsenal and this is going on my radar for sure. Thank you

I love this ball !!Would u go with a not so aggressive layout??Something like ; 50/4/35

I don't feel the need to use very strong layouts. The ball is strong enough and I have a good rev rate. A very strong layout would make the ball read too early, flare too much, and probably just die at the pin deck. Weaker layouts are much more effective for me. They generally save energy better and explode at the pin deck more.

My rev rate is 375 and my ball speed is 16-17

@@timothymcdonald5987 Then it makes sense that you'd want a stronger layout than I'd ever use! 😁

Surface > cover formula > cover type. The time of talking about balls as solids or pearls before any other specific aspect of the ball design is missing the forest for the trees.

Tell the ball companies that, since cover type is literally in the name of the balls

@@JeffTeachesBowling Don't pass the buck, if you actually realize that every other spec matters more than if a ball is a hybrid, etc. you have a responsibility as a social media brand to provide that info. Tell me I'm wrong or improve.

@@ryandaugherty9924 It comes off as you're just looking for someone to disagree with. In this video I compare Criterions of different coverstocks (the same core), then Solid vs. Hybrid matters and I point that out. When I'm comparing Hybrids amongst themselves in this video, then the core matters a lot, the results show it, and I point that out also. And when I compare the Criterion Hybrid to the Black Widow Mania - a ball with the same RG and much higher differential which generally means earlier hook, the fact that it's a Hybrid vs. Pearl cover makes a large difference in when the ball reads, and I also point that out.
Thank you for watching and supporting the channel regardless!
