    Looks good. Does stable 4700 happen on wood lanes as well?

      I don't know if it does or not but I loved a jackal ghost , a versa max , the 2k16 forest green quantum, the taboo jet black and the IQ tour solid pin down at stable grit and I never had to change the surface because how much room it made for me.

      That's a great question. I don't know of many places that have wood anymore, but if you know of one maybe we could do a video and find out 👀👀👀. I'm a fan of BrunsNick ❤️

      @Ctdbowling I am also a fan of Brunsnick and he is actually the reason I decided to go to Sarge Easter grip to get rid of my wrist and hand pain . And I bowl at milwaukie bowl in milwaukie Oregon home of Dave husted and it has old wood lanes.

      @@brunsnick great question Brunsnick I am now curious as well because I bowl on old wood lanes at milwaukie bowl home of pba hall of famer Dave husted and I have had some balls I hated out of box and at other surfaces but when it became lane shined or 4700 grit or stable it was just awesome I could move all over the lane if needed.

      @@Ctdbowling I just happen to bowl league at one up here. My thought is whatever surface the lane is will equalize itself onto the ball over time. I just don’t know what each lane is! Let’s test it!

    Thanks, Ron. I put 2000 grit on my Solid balls, 3000 on the pearls, and 1000 on urethane. The TruCut pads work very well for me.

    It looks like the summit peak. And it is pretty smooth for a strong asymmetric hybrid

    Excellent review! Great video. One question? hope you can answer my doubts. This criterion hybrid ball is RG 2.500 Diff 0.052 and is a medium to heavy oil.
    The other criterion is the same numbers. RG 2.500 Diff 0.052 but is for heavy oil, why is that, why one is for medium to heavy oil and the other is heavy oil. And why the Paragon pearl. The green one is RG 2.48 Diff 0.56. And is for medium to heavy oil? So the Diff is higher and have more hook. But is not for heavy oil? Why is that?

      Surface is the reason they are for different conditions

    This ball is a banger. I own every Track ball in production. This one will replace my Archetype Hybrid. The M-D core is amazing.

    Hello Ronald, Is the Criterion Hybrid sharper looking than the Theorem (Hybrid) when both are dull?

    Rolls like the No Doubt but not as much pop down lane. Ball looks good though.

    Have a question about your polish. Can you tell me the difference between your tru cut hand applied polish vs storms power edge? I think i might like both but trying to see the differences between them thanks.

    • @Zlz787
      @Zlz787 6 днів тому +2

      They're the same thing. Different brand. Slightly different chemistry. - mostly for adhesion to the cover to get that polished shine.
      -feel free to correct me.
      EDIT; I was right! The abrasives in the power edge are the only thing different. That would imply that the polish in CTD has more of a liquidity than P.E. -I've used power edge and it's the thickest polish I've used on a bowling ball personally.

    • @traviskirk3834
      @traviskirk3834 6 днів тому +1

      I prefer the ctd hand applied polish and I mainly use the 5500 grit polish but on my classic black quantum I used 2k trucut then the 6000 polish and if any more shine it would be a mirror. But I prefer to use 1500/3000/4000 or p5000d trucut by hand and it makes it shiny with out polish doing those steps I have got my hyroad x to be a great ball to a awesome ball.

      Our Polish doesn't have abrasives in it. Power Edge does. So our polish can create more backend reaction and can be done by hand.

    I have this ball pre ordered.. the pro shop guy in my town is brand new and he drilled one of my balls and the track is running over my thumb. Could you by a chance send me a DM possibly on what layouts I can use to not track over my thumb. 2 3/4 over 1 1/4 up. Average rev rate 540. Axis Tilt - 9. Rotation 80.
